Meh ive been single for like 3-4 years now, ive had many girls who have wanted to go out with me on some level but it always comes back to i would date you, if you werent so into video games. it is also what came between me and my last girl friend when she pretty much said it would have to be her or the games and even as a teenager i knew she couldnt win that fight. Neway im just wondering if im alone on this or if all women out there are pretty much the same?

What's a girlfriend? Is that like someone to play the second controller?

Has is spelled with an 's'.

And no it hasn't. My awkward nature is probably to blame for the lack of girlfriends.

Uhm.. no. I love gaming but if I let something like that come between one of my relationships, then honestly, that would make me a loser.
I've dated people who are and aren't into gaming. It just depends I guess, but would I say.. pick playing Borderlands over going on a date? Fuck no

Thankyou. I was tempted to say this. well, I wasn't but it's still funny.

Back when I had a girlfriend, I was more interested in gaming. gaming was better. we broke up. the end.
I made the right choice.
Suppose it was just a bad experience for a girlfriend. Oh well.

I think it's more of you being a crappy boyfriend if you pick games over her.

I don't have any problems with it.

It hasn't to my knowledge, but maybe some girls have stayed away, knowing I'm a gamer. Oh well, their loss.

Bitches.

Yeah Man I was into gaming pretty hard and it put strain on past relationships but I figured something out...Banging is way more fun than video games. Sorry everyone but its true. Video games will always be there waiting, people wont. Video games are great time killers but thats all they should be.

Err, then perhaps you should at least tone down how much you talk about video games?
Lie man, lying is the key to any strong relationship.

What do you do, start you chatup lines with ancedotes from modern warfare?

I've had girlfriends. It always ends quite badly due to my inability to hold responsibility for a relationship. I always feel constrained. Then again I haven't had a girlfriend I really felt was worth it. I don't think video games have ever impacted on that aspect of my life.

...I'm not sure that's the best tactic.

She probably didn't want to spend all her time with you, she probably just wanted to feel like a girlfriend. That is not so unreasonable.

You need to work on your spelling if you plan on trying dating websites in the future.

That said no gaming has never been an obstacle.

I met my girlfriend thanks to a videogame, I had the victory music from FF7 as a text ringtone when it went off in a lunch line, she recognised it, giggled spoke to me and I asked her out, it blossomed from there. Thank you Nobuo Uematsu!

Nope.

Then again my relationships have not been... ummm... kosher.

Two people I met via games... umm... those where not kosher either.

Probably. At the moment, it's definitely helping me. She's just got herself a 360 and we're talking loads about games and how to do certain parts of different games.

Life is sweet, even if I just get a hot gamer friend out of this :D
