Okay, now I actually feel small for once. Well done.Pariah87 said:Muahahaha I beat you by 2".Nihlex said:I'm 6.5 and like 6/8's so I say 6'6 I don't exaggerate it's just easier to say.Outright Villainy said:Same.Sneaky-Pie said:I'm 6'3".
I've never really found the need to over exaggerate my height.
It does kinda annoy me when I see guys taller than me though.
It's just... wrong
I don't like the shoe being on the other foot damnit!
Also muahahaha I'm taller then you ~poke~
When you get to this height, you have to drive bigger cars, which cost more money, several potential job fields are no longer an option, you can always get picked out in a crowd, your posture gets knackered due to having to duck through doorways. You halflings have it easy, seriously.
People really think 6' is tall? Shit, I can see the bald patches on 6' guys heads and then some.

Ladies, would you honestly consider dating a
5"3'
guy? Despite me considering myself attractive, height is really a large factor.
As the resident short guy of this site, these threads really pain me.
Unfortunatly yes it is I'm fairly lanky(tall and skinny) yet I don't care as llong as I can reach shelves I'M goodAby_Z said:Yes. It's just another case of 'Mine is bigger than yours!'
You can't be smaller than anyone else, now can you?

I understand your point clearly, but in the case of the people I'm refering too they do take it to the extreme, we are talking about adding a couple of inches as well as a geneorous rouding up (e.g. a 1.1 becoming a 2) to the height and refusing to accept being shorter then said height. But yeah in your case it would certianly make sense to do so.jamesworkshop said:In technical terms rounding up or downing are both inaccurate, If you were 6 foot and 15 milimeters are you going to bother being that exact or would you just say 6'1 out of convinence.Clarkarius said:I find it unusual how a few people I know have a tendancy to round up their height and add one. For example I am 6ft 2 and a bit, I know this for a fact (the tape measure does not lie), yet a few of people I know claim to be this height too and instead claim that I must be 6ft 3 or 4 to justify me being taller and for them being shorter.
So my question is: 'Is height really that much of a big deal that we tend to overestimate it or even exagerate it?
Of course not. That gets you laughed at in the locker room.Aby_Z said:You can't be smaller than anyone else, now can you?
