"Is it okay for guys to eat salads?"

Is that even a serious question? Salad isn't feminine or masculine... it's nutritious (depending what you mix into it) and delicious; a good way to get those vegetables (and possibly fruits) in your diet. Tell your girlfriend to learn about nutrition.

Eating salad is not Masculine. But it is also neither feminine nor unmasculine to eat a salad. Eating a steak wrapped in bacon and washing it down with scotch is masculine. Eating the heart of a buck you killed with your bare hands is masculine. Eating a salad is...food. Something you gotta do from time to time. And they can be pretty tasty too. Even granting the kinda tongue in cheek prospect of expressing masculinity through activities like dinner, eating a salad is neutral.

Of course, eating a salad may not be Masculine, but it can be extremely Mesclun.
