i would try to talk to him. if he starts getting hasty or qeustionable the bus drivers code always works here that being SIT DOWN AND SHUTUP! http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/150503 . if i may share a story? there was once a school shooting involving one boy who had been bullied and wanted revenge he ended up shooting and wounding several students in which a teacher began to talk him out of it and eventaully saved alot of lives just by being rational and talking him out of it. now if the guys completely bonkers and starts becoming unstable i just shutup at that point .

I would try to talk to him if I was alone or if he was trying to rob me.

If he's in a shopping center then he's probably not going to listen and just wants to shoot up the place.

The best thing to do is run for it. Unless they've had training, hitting a fast moving target at a distance with a regular hand gun can actually be quite hard to do.

Trying to disarm him is sheer lunacy. There is a VERY GOOD REASON THE POLICE DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER TRYING TO PLAY THE HERO. Any police officer worth his/her salt will tell you that the SMART thing to do would be to run.

Disarming someone with a gun will not work unless you are very close to him/her and know how to do it. Otherwise, you're just asking for a bullet. Especially if he's already got the gun pointed at you - I admit that maybe if he had his back turned to you, you could knock him down with a shove, but if he's facing you and has the gun pointed directly at you, and if you are more than 2 feet away - run for it. You will probably get shot if you try to attack him.

Me loved one comes first, I'd stand in front of them in a blink of an eye.

Depending on his weapon you and the person you are standing in front of are now both dead. Grab loved one (or random person near you) and either run like hell or drop to the floor. Then proceed from there (and hope the guy with the Glock 10mm has excellent aim)

Try to run up to him as fast as i can while dodging a bit to make targeting hard for him. When i run up to him,grab his arm,kick him in the balls,take the gun,throw the clip out,shoot in the air once,and then pistol-whip him 10-15 times for being stupid.

I don't think he'll be able to hit head or vital organs even if he DOES hit me.

Dude I guarantee you that if you were facing the barrell of a loaded gun, you wouldn't run up and try to to tackle them.
