I'd say it really depends on the people. If nobody cares enough to say anything about it I would imagine nothing would occur. However, I bet if a person were to raise enough complaints about it, they would likely ask you to change your shirt. Frankly I don't see an issue with it, but it only takes enough bitching from one person to ruin the fun.

Also, it is an awesome shirt.

The only thing wrong with it is it will likely distract other students during class. I would not wear it to school if I were you.

I think it's hilarious, but I'm sure someone with a pole up their ass would complain about it.

But fuck that guy, and get it anyway.

If I wore this shirt to school, do you think I'd get in trouble? I've asked my friends and most of them don't think so or are on the line. I'm Catholic btw, and I don't think it's offensive. Just funny.

Oh, and just for the heck of it, post some shirts you think are funny.

EDIT: I go to a public school, guys. I don't think I'd wear this to church though, without getting mauled...
Well, it's a direct reference to the Bible, so I'd see no problem with you wearing it if I was the principal. Even if you do get in trouble for it you can call it religious persecution.

Not at a public school. You can wear pretty much anything to public schools and nobody cares. This isn't even that offensive, just a good observation.

If you believe that the immaculate conception happened then you are free to where it as a sign of your beliefs. If the principal asks you about it say "it is my first amendment right to talk about my beliefs"
You can wear it regardless...
I don't see how ones position on immaculate conception is relevant to ones ability to wear the shirt.

If it doesn't break dress code. You can wear it.
I wear my Bad Religion shirt all the time. They don't like it, but it doesn't break dress code.

And a link to my BR shirt if anyone is wondering about it. http://www.rockworldeast.com/store/Bands,Bad_Religion/Bad_Religion_T-Shirt_Skulls

As much as it's just a joke shirt, someone's gonna complain about it (whether it offends them, they want their lulz of the day, or whatever).

Also, I didn't realize till now that's the Virgin Mary on the shirt. I hate having brain farts. >.<

I always go with the theory that if looking at the shirt I think "Will I offend someone and get in trouble?" then I'm just not gonna wear it somewhere I could get in trouble at. There's a billion places you could wear it other than school.

And seriously people? You can't imagine it as offensive? Imagine yourself as a 47 year old, die hard, tired as hell high school administrator lady and think about that again... Or maybe I just come from a really conservative area where I had to turn my shirt inside out a few too many times for offending said administrator lady.

Wear it, and if you get sent to the principal's office throw the freedom of speech-bomb at him. I guess my school was quite tolerant, but it's less out of the ordinary than some stuff I've seen around so I wouldn't really worry.

Freedom of speech has soooo many limits though, especially in public schools. I think I had a couple principles laugh in my face when I tried to pull that in high school.

I would say do it.
The sheer comedic value of that shirt alone makes the risk worthwhile to me.
But be warned, if you do get in trouble, I really doubt you can sue.
As far as I know, you have no rights on school grounds.
Or at all until you're 18.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here people.
No, your right. Public schools basically have the freedom to tell you what your rights are at anything supported by said school. It's for liability reasons (or some crap like that)

Shamefully, you're right. Still, when equipped with the right ammunition you can pull it off. Just need presence of mind and think your stuff through well.
