I could have, if I didn't leave my GF in middle school. She curb-stomped my heart and possibly part of my soul...

Nope, every girl in my school is either a whore, a moron, a druggy, not attractive to me, taken, or my friend.

sucks to be me :\

And while I'm hesitant to use the word "Love", it seems to be the best word to describe my feelings for her.
Thanks for saving my e-breath.

I was very close to a girl in highschool, however we never officially dated. The deal was we met through one of my mates who she was dating at the beginning of year 10, they only went out for a week or two and I became somewhat close to her during their short stint together. She told me one day that she didn't really feel that way about him, and asked what to do, my reply was the obvious "don't lead him on, it will be worse" so she broke up with him. She also told him that I'd said not to lead him on. So, that's why I was never comfortable going out with her, but we regularly went out places alone as friends.

I've spent more time talking to her than I have anyone else and even now 5 years on we're quite close (we both have other partners). I'm not sure that love is the right word, given the circumstances, but she is and has been very special to me.

Yep. A rocky relationship, but it got better and better. Then I graduated and we drifted apart, so we broke up. Looking back at it, it certainly wasn't the best relationship, but she certainly was one of the defining features of high school for me. Now, there's really no chance that we'd ever get back together; our personalities have diverged far too much.

Oh, and I've matured a lot too. That's important ;)

No 'sweetheart' as such. Just a couple of girls I was into really.

I'm very shallow sometimes, but then again everyone is. I think at high school, or secondary school as it's called across the sea, no one really has a poetic soul longing for a soul mate.
except for those who do
But really just mask the same shallow lust under a veil of wanting to be deeper than that

Yeah sorta.

I just got a little saddened when I saw her with another guy.

But I'm not one of those faggy emo kids who cries and whines, so I just sorta accepted it and moved on.

I had one, we dated for close to two years. It was fun and all but I kind of regret tying myself down for my junior and senior year, so many opportunities were passed up on (not that I regret the relationship, its just that looking back I don't know why I had such a serious relationship so young.)

Sadly, no.

Mainly because I was not only incredibly shy, but also because I'm a perfectly heterosexual male in an all boy's school.

So yeah.

You make me laugh, too.

OT: I dunno...I've had two girlfriends in my lifetime, and I started dating both of them in 2009 (different times, of course!). My current one I've had into 2010, and it seems pretty great so far...but I dunno. Time will tell, I suppose.

EDIT: Totally should be a "Maybe" or "I'm not sure" answer on the poll. 'Cos I don't know whether to say yes or no now.

I homeschooled through all of highschool. As you might assume, no I did not.

I did have a kindergarten crush, though.
