Nope.
I've only had one girl friend my entire life and that was after High School.

I never had one.

All the girls in my school said 'like' with such frequency that it made me hate them with a passion.

And they were all egotistical, whether that was just them or more about them being teenagers I don't know.

I have had a couple of girlfriends, but I'm too cynical to keep a relationship going.
Dear fucking god can I relate to that.

No I never had a high school sweetheart, not for lack of trying. Their wasn't a very large amount of interesting girls at my school. None with a modicum of common sense anyway.

Negative... I was too busy not being cool in high school... spending my lunch times playing Magic: The Gathering or StarCraft in the library.
I was not until college I started dating.... and I got stuck with the freak parade... my first "girlfriend" turned out to be a furry... the second... did some things I didn't agree with involving drugs... like meth...

Back on topic...
There were girls that I liked... but then it was just because they had boobs... and I liked boobs a lot then...
So really... I just liked boobs... and I still do.

No, I have not. I have had girlfriends but they were not perfect by all means.

I never had a high school sweetheart. So by my calculations Hollywood is wrong, again.

And while I'm hesitant to use the word "Love", it seems to be the best word to describe my feelings for her. So I wonder "How many of my fellow escapists have shared this experience?" Did Hollywood get it right? Or am merely I among a lucky few?
What's your story?
Hrm.. I'm sorry to admit that I went through girls like they were kleenex in high school. Not because I was a chauvinist or anything like that it's just 'something' always happened. Her friends don't like me, we find out we had nothing in common, one of us wants sex t'other one didn't. Someone was going away to college. Ect.
However, I met my wife in high school and had a slight infatuation with her. However she was taken at the time and I've never been the kind of douchebag who pursues people who are attached. Fast foreward 10 years later we start dating 3 years after that we're married. Here we are. You can't predict love. All you can do is learn from those relationships. You never STOP learning or making mistakes either.
One of my closest friends married his high school sweetheart. (his 3rd S.O ever and I believe he was her 2nd ever) They've been married 9 years now and are still going strong.

It's all random. Everyone's story is different.

DnD kind of ruined my odds of that happening.
As a fellow adventurer, I feel your pain. I'm not to worried about my girl though, because... well she's coming over today to run through a new dungeon with me and some friends.
Once again, you have my sympathies.

I've been out of high school for a couple years, and I still haven't really met any girls that I've come close to developing actual feelings for. Aside from the feelings you get in your pants out of friendship.

Yeah, I did, and still have her now. Hopefully for a long time, but who knows, right? It's our first year out of high school and everythings normal. The people who say that relationships from high school never last are for the most part delusional heartbroken perps who recently got dumped.

Never had an experience like that at all to be honest.

I wish it was true because it'd be pretty niiiiice... but nearly 5 years into high school and no sign of a relationship with anyone in my school on the horizon. I call bullshit on Hollywood's representation of high school relationships.

I had one for a bit, it got a bit odd, we split up, went out with different people, got back together, repeat once or twice. After a long while and a lot of thought, we are going out again. Such fun!

Only had one girlfriend in "high school" (I'm substituting "high school" for "academy" for my Scottish brain assumes it's the same thing).

But she was quite frankly a *****. So the answer is no

Oh, the girl I'm with now is our resident Cleric of Pelor. She recently found a way to make a Pelor Cleric have a stronger fireball than a wizard of equivalent level.
