For the Horde!
Started as Horde due to friends getting me in to it and they were Horde.
I've also always seen Alliance as too traditional fantasy for me. I prefer the grittier, sometimes darker side the Horde brings. Like killing Gamon, just cos you can.
And I have a soft spot for the forsaken. Those little rascals, looking like they're part of the Horde when we all know they hate it but have nowhere else to go.
Artichoke, Burning Blade - EU. Undead Warrior and proud.

I tried to play Alliance. Really, I did try. But they just don't match up to the Horde. I'll give Worgen a go, just because they seem like a really interesting experience, but Goblins are getting their turn first. For the Horde!

Alliance. I like Wrynn and NOT dropping zombie barrels on my allies.
The horde never dropped plague on there allies. That was Putress and he was working for a demon lord not the horde.
Which was funded, directed and oversaw by Sylvanas, who still is with the Horde. Go figure. But we're not here to talk about that, that was just one of the reason why I don't like playing Horde.
All I am saying is Putress acted agaisnt Undercity. Almost killed the Dark lady, and was acting with the burning legion. Putress and Varimiathias back stabbed the horde. That's like saying because you bought the knife your responsible for an intruder stabbing you with it.

The attack also wasn't overseen by Sylvanas. She didn't know about the attack. She knew about the plague, but she was developing it to use agaisnt Arthas and his minions, thus why it was developed to kill the undead.
More like giving the intruder the knife then saying Pretty please don't do it. The plague was designed to kill the undead AND the living. I just like Wrynn because he has multiple reasons to hate the Horde, Garrosh being a big one. If I were you guys, I would try to contain him a bit and NOT bring him on sensitive diplomatic missions.
However Putress was a trusted individual. So it was more like giving your co-worker the knife and expecting him not to cut you up when you turned your back.

Garrosh is actually learning to reign back a bit as he is forbidding Sylvanas to use plague weapons.

The reason why i don't like Wrynn is because he needs to learn to let things go. Thrall's horde had nothing to do with burning down Stormwind. Thrall has ample reason to hate The alliance yet he tried so hard to bring some kind of peace. Wrynn just seems to be looking for any excuse to kill people who honestly had nothing to do with his shitty past.

It's kinda like if someone were to try and kill you because your father murdered there father.

He may have been forced to fight as a gladiator but then again so did Thrall. Thrall was able to let it go.
Its not so much that Varian hates the Horde, mostly just the orcs and undead. I think the worst part about Varian's rage at the orcs is cause he's tried, a few times, for peace. Its not in game, its in the comics and books, so its not immediately obvious, but Varian DID go to a peace talk with Thrall. Despite Garrosh being a douche (Great job on company choice) things did go well, until Garona, the ORC that murdered Varians father in front of his eyes showed up and tried killing everyone. That, plus the Ulduar trailer, and a bunch of other things.

I think all it would take for Varian to let his rage go is for Thrall to simply say sorry for what the orcs have done.

Also, I thought Thrall had abolished slavery when Varian was forced to be a gladiator? But I could be wrong on that.

Kinda both. My Horde characters are my Undead Mage and my Tauren Druid. Then I have Human Priestess, Human Warrior and a Dwarf Hunter (for a Let's Play of the Trial).

I prefer Alliance. Night Elves appeal to me a lot :) My Night Elf Druid is hands-down my favorite of my WoW characters. Although the Dwarf Hunter is growing on me... anyways, both Alliance.

I prefer the horde.

I don't know why but i feel there's coldness and restriction in the Alliance. They appear "Anal" (as in, something strict and uncaring) and i can't stand playing with them for very long. I prefer the fellowship and brotherhood feel of the Horde.

Yeah Garrosh does need to learn to shut the hell up. He is a dick that ruined one to many chances.

The dumbass even attack thrall.

As far as I know Slavery is abolished. After all, all the alliance that surrendered to the horde at Warsong Hold were returned to the Alliance rather then being put to work. I only briefly know about the gladiator thing from people talking so I am not quite sure WHO forced him into gladiator bouts, only that nobody actually knew he was the king. Thrall very well might not have had a single damn clue it was going on. Every society has its criminals.

As for the Ulduar trailer didn't that little spat get started by Wrynn lipping off? Yeah Garrosh over reacted but still he instigated it. They are both idiot in my eyes. Wrynn for being an asshole when it wasn't the time and Garrosh acting like a 12 year old.

Which is odd because the Horde stereotype is stupid assholes and the Allaince stereotype is 12 year olds...

Sticking with horde, as I got told to be itr by friends when I started, and even though i don't play with them now, I'm still horde.

Got a Draenei priest though.

I honestly don't know. The alliance have some pretty sick races (Dranei and Worgen) but the horde has less douchebags. Plus undead and Tauren are pretty cool.

I'll say it's a tie. But the horde gets cooler mounts anyway.

While its true Thrall probably didn't know about the slavery, I doubt making the guy who enslaved the most powerful political figure in the Alliance one of his top advisors. Thats pulling a Sylvanas, right there. But still, not a good idea. At all.

Also, Varian had asked Rhonin what the orcs were doing there, after you know, the whole "We TOTALLY didn't think that Sylvanas was gonna pull that now, swearsies!" Garrosh insulted Varian and his entourage, and things went to hell from there.

Main point: Stop sending Garrosh on diplomatic missions. Seriously.
