The struggles of the Orcs have always seemed to be the center of the warcraft lore.
Back in the first game, all hell went lose when the Orcs invaded Azeroth.
The second game was more or less about shit moving to the Orcs homelands Draenor and back again, civil war among the Orcs themselves and the defeat of the Orcish invaders.
The third game them tells us how the Orcs were really just slaves of the "Burning legion" and starts out, showing the remaining Orcs in their alliance-made containment-camps.
The Alliance that formed ONLY to defeat the invaders splits up now the threat is gone.
The one Orc thrall named... Thrall gets a vision induced by some very very important wizzard-character which name I cannot remember and moves the Orcs to a new continent, where they troop up with the Tauren and a bunch of Outcast Trolls, to beat the stuck-up aggressive and age-less Night Elfs and later everyone against the Scourge.
And then there is Rexxar
And the alliance got... Arthas and Illidan.
The first being a fairy-haired whiner ending up turning badass eeeevil.. Sorta like Darth Vader.
Then we are a black haired pointy eared whiner, ending up going erhm, eeeevil!.. Sorta like Darth Vader.
I liked both. Well I did like the Horde a little more than the Alliance. I don't play it anymore. There are plenty of free mmorpgs that are just as good.

I am always walking the line between the two facions. On one end, the Horde was the first faction I played on, and i enjoyed playing as my blood elf rogue. Though when my friend convinced me to join his alliance guild, I grew attached to the people in it.
Now I feel that the Horde have been neglected and could use more people on their side for WG or whatever world pvp thing happens in cataclysm, and that I cannot stand hearing spamming Trade with their ridiculous gloating about being the self-proclaimed #1 guild on KM.
So now all that is left is to convince the girls(yes, I am sure they are girls from voice chat) and guys in my guild to switch to the Horde.
Now I feel that the Horde have been neglected and could use more people on their side for WG or whatever world pvp thing happens in cataclysm, and that I cannot stand hearing spamming Trade with their ridiculous gloating about being the self-proclaimed #1 guild on KM.

Im not very familiar with World of warcraft, (even though my manager at work keeps telling me to play it) but isn't there a third group called the forsaken?All Hail Lelouch said:
I'm for the Horde. Trolls, tauren, and orcs. My main is a tauren.
This wouldn't be too big a problem for the Horde, but the Undead and Blood Elves make up a large portion of the Horde. The Tauren are too remote and the Trolls are too few in number to really see any benefit from them.
The Forsaken is a part of the Horde, but loosely. An Undead or Blood Elf character starts out neutral to the other Horde factions to show that they're new additions that are only a part of the Horde out of convenience. That's one of the benefits to the Alliance, small as it is. If you run through the starting Draenai you can end up with honorable to all factions and revered with the draenei. Honorable is what you need to gain access to a 10% discount from factions, and it used to be required that you reach the highest level of reputation to purchase mounts from the factions.crimsonshrouds said:

Well i like Wrynn, being a total asshole all the time but why is his hairstyle so...(i know a few gay people and have the permission to use that word) gay!
But Garrosh...he´s even a bigger ass and releases me from being more badass than my faction leader^^ "Let´s team up to defeat the evil lich king!" fuck you Thrall! "I team up with my Axe to smack the shit out of everyone who isnt green!" Garrosh(not green as i remember^^) FTW
By the way, are there any changes, assassinations or other cool stuff in the alliance leadership?

Horde: very little stupid idiot children and many immature people age 17-30... not many older folks what so ever, but the ones that do exist are undergeared and uncared for.
Alliance is pure stupidity for day to day play. But will tend to grow on you and you'll begin to like it.. (As if it were a pufferfish when you started and as time rolled on you glued pillows and fancy feathers to it... and now its cute and somewhat cuddly, but its never going to replace your pillow)
Horde is filtered stupidity with a touch of genius and a side order of hilarity.
Edit: Yet i chose alliance since Alpha, and only a month ago switched to horde... thank gawd. FOR TEH HORRRRDE
