Well, I saw "bored" in your post a few times. Sounds like you just need to quit WoW and find another game.
Touche.

I'll go with Da Orkz.

Gee. The poll results are unsurprising.

While I'm at it, here are my feeling on the Alliance during my few years on WoW: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW_Lv0r-l4c
I remember this video. Wow.
Did I sound like that much of a twat pre-TBC was I was like that? Probably didn't spit up that much vomit or was too vocal, but damn. I'm glad I grew up.

Ugh. It'll make my day when I'm not bastardized by Horde players for faction choice IRL.

I played Horde for 99% of my WoW career, I don't have anything against the Allience it's just all my friends went Horde. I rarely had a bad experience with another Horde member but I never really played Allience all that much. I also prefer the Horde races over the Allience ones.

I play both, but maybe you're not one of those obsessive compulsive people who HAS to have at least one toon of every single class.

During my tenure on WoW, I was primarily Alliance.

However. Looking back on it, Horde is a much better choice. Not nearly as many annoying people, for whatever reason. Not to mention they're just a little more interesting.

Play whatever you feel like. Anyone who says that there's an inherent difference between the Horde and the Alliance is mistaken or lying. Maybe there's a variation from server to server, i.e. "All Horde on Skullcrusher are assholes, but all Horde on Shattered Hand are welcoming and friendly" but really, it all averages out. Play what you enjoy playing, whether that means a muscular green humanoid, a cow-man, an effeminate elf, a tiny person with pink hair, a space-goat-lady, or whatever.

Those dirty Horde can go die in a fire, though.
agreed for the alliance i say!!!

Honestly, It all comes down to the server. Depending on the server Horde or Alliance can be outnumbered by a HUGE amount. Also, depending on the server, Alliance can be really immature but some servers Horde are really immature too. Do some research ... Polls wont really give u an answer.

Alliance. Alliance one thousand times.

I mean, the Horde are a bunch of arrogant hypocrites! 'How dare the humans come to Kalimdor! They should get back to their own continent!'

That's great and all, Thrall/Grom/whichever orc says it next, but this is the Alliance's planet and that is pretty much the Night Elf's/Tauren's continent! I mean, what, the Horde deserves almost everything on the continent apart from a few small islands and a marsh? Why, exactly? Because the orcs USED to be nice? Outland is open to them, Nagrand is very pretty, the orcs should just leave if they hate the Alliance that much.

...not that I care, or anything. *cough*

Play both. I know people who have one of each. In can be done.

In WoW terms, would that make you bi?
The problem is that having one of each makes you loose out on one of the greatest parts of having a higher level main being that you supply them with good items and gold, it can be done cross faction through use of the neutral Ratchet auction(I think) but is pretty hard.

And yeah it would kinda, what's your battle cry "For Everybody!" or more like the Goblins "For the highest bidder!"?
I play my alt completely separate anyway. I enjoy the challenge of building a toon from scratch. Most of my friends build their alts from the ground up too, so we start new ones at the same time and quest together. As far as the battlecry, of course, it corresponds to whatever I am playing at the time.

But anyway, everyone has their own style of play. I'm just saying, it doesn't have to be either/or.

Oh,oh,oh-oh-oh!

It's on!

The Alliance's planet? Yeah sure it is.... Is the Earth also America's planet? the Night Elves fucked up pretty badly and here's the clincher, without the Horde or Alliance Azeroth would not exist The bronze say it in the BM quest line and in the revised War of the Ancients if it weren't for Rhonin (Who is technically not even Alliance so suck mah' big greens) and Broxigar the world wouldn't have been saved.

The humans are massive hyppocrites too, infact every race has some sort of Darkside except the Tauren (Even Night Elves have the Highborne and Satyrs) save possibly the Grimtotem clan but they haven't done all that much in comparison to the others, now...who do the Tauren work with??

I'm not angry this is just nerdrage, sorry if I come off as pissed off.

It's not like saying it is America's planet!
It's like if a bunch of aliens came down onto our planet, landed on (for the sake of the example) American soil, killed millions of them, then moved to Texas, claimed it all for themself and complained that there were still Americans in "their" land.

Fair enough about Broxigar, although I would argue Rhonin does count as 'Alliance' as he was fought for the Alliance during the Second and Third War (especially in Day of the Dragon). Even if he is neutral now, that's only because Arthas is such a huge threat (nice to see the Horde and Alliance at each others throats thanks to Varian)! But the point still stands, Broxigar is pretty badass.

PS: Nerd rage is fun, no need to apologise for it! I enjoy debates like this.

Hey Everyone. I have been playing an alliance paladin for 2 years, i'm in a nice guild but i dont raid and im getting really bored. i have the epic mounts, the pvp gear, the profs, the titles but im really bored. I rolled a hunter the other day on the horde side and im having a great time so far (im level 48) but i feel guilty about ditching the alliance. I just want an honest answer, i love both sides and i cant choose so can you please just tell me which side i should be playing?
Dont worry about feeling guilty, its all apples and oranges, each side thinks they are better, but only the true of heart, or whatever, can play both sides without remorse.

Personally I have a horde, but I used to be alliance, so no worries mate

people only play alliance because they wish they weren't so ugly IRL, or because they are 8 years old.

sorry guys but its fact. horde bar blood elves are where its at, or would be if WoW wasn't a terrible MMO.

I used to be relatively neutral on the Horde vs. Alliance thing but the Burning Crusade put my sympathies firmly in the Alliance camp. At least before the Blood Elves showed up one could make the argument that neither side was morally better then the other.

Then the Draenei show up, who are destined to join the "Army of Light" and vanquish the Burning Legion, and the Blood Elves arrive with their magic addiction, holding what for all intents and purposes is an Angel in their capitol city and syphoning power from him.

This is all well and good and I'll be the first to say the Blood Elves have largely mended their ways after the Sunwell episode but just when the Horde is starting to find its stride again Wrathgate happens. Holy crap that pissed me off so bad. I've had many arguments with friends over whether Varian was justified in getting pissed off at the Horde and all I can say is the only thing he's guilty of is overreacting a little bit.

The Horde willfully employed a Dreadlord, the Horde commissioned the plagues that killed Bolvar Fordragon and hundreds of Alliance soldiers (and Horde to be fair). In Icecrown it is the Horde that attacked the Alliance from behind at the Broken Front, it's the Horde who still allows slavery in their culture and can't keep track of their major factions.

Not to mention that I think that the Hellscream family is quite possibly the worst thing to happen to Alliance/Horde relations and sentient life as a whole on Azeroth.

I played a tauren druid up to 70, I quite well before the Lich King. I had fun but played too much for my own good. I quit but I always enjoyed the horde.
