Beer is for men who can't hold their liquor. Vodka IS my beer. But, if I ever do have a beer, I suppose I would be in the 1-5 minute mark for a good beer, and a bad beer would be a "why the hell would I want to drink this swill?" minute mark.

Ok, I dont know what planet you 5 minuters live on, but it should take you AT LEAST 10 minutes to drink a beer (on average). If you drink it faster than that, it means you are not savouring it, which means you are not enjoying it, and so you shouldnt be drinking it in the first place. I probably take about 20 minutes to drink a beer, and it is not warm after 20 minutes.

no, you're drinking fine for watching football. but if you're trying to get drunk like i'm doing right now, you're not drinking enough fast enough.

first; beer is for pussys. what you need is rum. as jack sparrow once said "i like rum, rum is GOOD" and he's damn right, it's really good. mix captain morgan with diet coke and what you have is vanilla coke that gets you drunk, it's like chuck norris's piss, it's that amazing.

ever tried whiskey and coke? gah, it's an aquired taste i think. captain morgan and coke: woooooooow

now go watch epic meal time on youtube and watch real men drink their jack daniels, and beer battered bacon plates.

For beer? About 15-20 minutes a can. For mojitos? I can stretch one out to 10 minutes, but I'd rather down it in 2 minutes. I don't drink beer too much. I downed 3 Smirnoff Ices in a relatively short amount of time, but the last time I drank beer I was doing yard work. I was feeling sick, but not buzzed. Once I stopped working I felt better and the buzz kicked in. That's the problem I'm at right now: Either I'll have a ton of weak stuff and not get buzzed enough, or I'll have to force down regular stuff, or heavy stuff.

I'd rather smoke a bowl than drink a beer.

Depends how many I've had that evening. I start out at a good pace to get the buzz going, and then I slow down and just maintain the buzz for the rest of the night.

Depends on the reason/goal of drinking. At a party I'll drink it fast. With food I'll drink it slow.

With a normal bottle - which ranges from 0,3 to 0,5 liters over here - it can take as much as an hour for me to finish it. Most of the time I only drink one in a go.

It depends. If I am watching the ice hockey, baseball or American football I will drink it in about 5 minutes. If I am drinking with friends and family it will take me a bit longer, more like 10-15 minutes. The rare times I do drink alone I am usually drinking Glenlivet or something similar, and you usually don't drink that very quickly.

6 seconds. Beer tastes like piss, so best get it down quick! However, I don't drink vodka any slower...

Don't you mean Vodka is for pansies who don't like beer? :p

In all seriousness, there's a saying to the effect that vodka is alcohol for people who don't like the taste of alcohol. It's ridiculously easy to cover up the flavor if you know how to mix drinks, and it generally is covered up even if you don't know how.

You do realize that a rum and coke has about as much alcohol as a beer does, right? And this is assuming a typical American beer, which average about 5% alcohol by volume. Some of the better microbrews sit around 9%, which is much higher than a one ounce of 40% alcohol rum in a 12 ounce glass, the remainder of which is filled with a non-alcoholic cola.

Also, nice job calling beer drinkers pussies when you apparently can't handle something as delicious as whiskey and coke; I mainly drink beer, but if I want some hard liquor mixed with a soda, that's usually my first choice.

Depends what beer, if its a bottle or a pint or a can.

Regardless, the rate you're drinking it, you probably ain't enjoying it properly.

Depends on what kind of beer it is and what kind of mood I'm in. If I'm at a party I can down a beer ridiculously fast. When I'm not drinking with friends and doing it while eating or at the end of the day - bad beer 1-5, good beer 6-10. I kept typing bear...I don't know why. A bear wouldn't be very fun to drink.
