Poll: How long was it for you between finding the escapist and joining?

I might have lurked for three months or so trying to figure out the best way to troll you good people before I joined. I had realized that I could have more fun contributing.

When I was first introduced to the Escapist, the newest ZP video was his review of "Grand Theft Auto IV" - that was May 14th, 2008. However, I didn't really start lurking until about 2 or 3 months prior to joining.

I was shown the site, ZP videos a few months before I joined. I did come back every week for the ZP videos, and I started reading through the forums a bit, eventually I plucked up the courage to make an account. Two years later, the Escapist is one of my permanent tabs.

A couple of weeks, a buddy showed me Zero Punctuation and I got hooked...community pretty nice, even though the trolls do come out to play sometimes.

I got Zero Punctuation recommended to me so I viewed that for some time until I found a topic I needed to reply to.

Then I sort of lurked for awhile.

And by awhile, I mean look at my registration date.
