My 360 has died on me once and my ps2 once as well for some weird reason. Don't know if PC would count, but had the power supply burn on me.

My Nintendo 64's back-pack thingo blew up.

I forget what the piece is called, but it's where you plugged in the power cord.

I'm surprised no one's had a fire or something, I've heard of a few systems having some serious problems but I guess no one's been that unfortunate, that's good.

the power supply went on my original xbox but thats it - it wasnt the machine failing - just some faulty wiring - we had to get a new one from ebay for £5 a few weeks later we was throwing the power supply up when I noticed there was some of the plastic missing at the end and there was some bare wire

My only console to crap out has been my used 360. Fortunately I had the warranty on it, so was able to get a new one for no charge.

i've lost a ps1, a ps2, two ps3s, a snes, a nintendo 64, and an original x-box. I've had a 360 since it came out and im still on my first one XD.
Enjoy tempting fate my friend. I had an original launch Xbox 360 that had a ton of hours on it. Hell, when Oblivion came out that system was on 24/7 between me and my roommates. After two years it looked like I had gotten one of the good launch systems.

Well, it failed on me in a most inopportune time. I got it replaced for free special thanks to the extended warranty. The refurbished system I got ran loud as hell and only lasted about 6 months before it red ringed on me.

The moral of the story: Launch 360s will fail on you, it's just a matter of time.
I don't know. My 360 has been through a lot. Like being hit with a hammer and having liquid spilled on it multiple times and it's fine.=D
I think you got the only launch system to not be an epic fail. Or perhaps spilling on it helped keep it cool :p

All my consoles, PSX, PS2, PS3, and Wii (not including handhelds), have never died on me once.

The closest I came to a break down was with my PS2, all I had to do was open it up and dust it off a bit, and it worked like new.

I wuvs my consoles, and my consoles wubs me.

An Xbox
An Xbox 360... about three times

...Notice how the only consoles that have ever failed on me are Xboxes?
I've had my N64 for half my life, my Gameboy Advance SP for about 5 years, my Mega Drive for god-only-knows how long. And they've only so much as hiccuped the whole time. My Xboxes didn't last a year. That's pathetic.

I posted something just like this in more detail with other consoles included but, I've never had a console "Die" (Die as in refuse to turn on or begin to operate right? and not just error reading discs/cartridges? [SP?]) only 2 of my PS2s after a few years started failing to read discs of any sort while thier memory ports still worked and data inside the hard disk drive (sold seperately)still worked(Final Fantasy XI) but a system that only plays one game isn't really alive or dead right?

All I can remember is my Gamecube dying once.

I *broke* a GBC once though.

...And judging by the sounds it's making, my Xbox360 is probably set to die soon.

I have only had one console die. I had one of the old school PS2s (ya know, the ones you could club a seal with) and that died. I ended up buying one of the newer ones. I've had a couple PCs die on me but I could fix those so I don't count them.

I have only lost one system and that was my PsX. Never lost one after that.
That's a weird system to lose, my friends psx died only because he used an "game enchancer" to let him play imports and ..such, which seemed to heat it up more.
