I Know 3.6 Languages.

I'm fluent in Swedish, English, and French. (3)

I took Spanish in high school, so i understand it, but i can't speak it fluently. (.5)

I'd like to think iv'e picked up enough Japanese words and phrases from watching Animes for that to count. (.1)

I'm originally Swedish, but my family has been moving around all my life, so i've had to pick up several languages on the way.

I speak two languages and know basic Japanese. English and moderate French. Though, my French is probably quite rusty as I haven't used it since I stopped taking it in school.

I'm only fluent in English, but I know a bit of spanish... Though I've lost a bit of what I used to know at the same time.

If only computer/programming languages counter... (C++, VB, PHP, XHTML, CSS, QBasic.... etc)

You forgot to mention what kind of Chinese: Mandarin or Kantonesian?
Considering I have no idea what Kantonesian is...I speak mandarin. Or do you mean Cantonese?
I try not to speak to foreigners in their own tongue. They go wayy too fast.
Doh, sorry. I didn't look it up. It's pretty easy to think Dutch and English are almost the same. So I translated Kantonees with Kanto... ne... sian... yeah, whatever, Kantonesian.

Thanks for the heads up.
Ah. No biggie. Though if you're talking about Cantonese, then you mean chinese dialects as a whole. Cantonese isn't the only chinese dialect. It's just the majority one.

Japanese (native). English, since that's where I currently live. French, semi-fluently. I can read/write Ancient Greek and Latin, but, well, speaking them isn't considered to be a teaching priority, shall we say? :D

I also have a little Spanish, Italian, German, Russian and Mandarin - my school is very multi-national.

I'm American but I taught myself French (took classes in public school but they were crap, I had to teach it to myself mostly). I'm currently fluent in French and English. I can understand Spanish, Latin, and some Japanese (can only read romanji, though). I'm currently learning German, and can construct basic grammar and sentences (the word order makes me cry though ;_;) I can also read Cyrillic characters, and understand very little Russian.

I also am very good at picking up/mimicking accents. My best accent (outside of an American one) is of course French, but I also have quite an expert accent in Japanese and German. My Latin-American Spanish accent is pretty good. My Russian is the worst, but it's somewhat passable.
