I've played Pandemic 2 at least once. Many billion.
Discounting that... Many Billion.

I can't begin to list them all. 100 Billion minimum because to many games have you wiping out earth or just grinding obscene AoE numbers of mobs for exp, or tower defences, or what have you.

Even if you heavy restrict the applicable games I can't see having less than a Billion.

To clarify, indirect actions do count and humanoids count.
Well considering I have over 1000 hours played in both L4D and L4D2, I have all achievements in both Dead Rising games, and I love me the hell out of some Civ 4. I would put the numbers in the billions (well if you count the populations of cities as kills). Plus considering the number of times I've destroyed the world in various games (by accident mind you, well at least mostly by accident), I would definitely say over 1 billion.

I've been gaming since I was 3...I've probably killed too many people to count so I'll assume the highest amount from the given list and return to murdering all who oppose me.

Well, I'm the kind of gamer that kills only if provoked, but if we are counting deaths that were originated from story choices, like for example the Dark Age ending from Deus Ex, I've probably reached 1 billion kills a long time ago.

Well it depends on what we count. Directly killed ourselves? I'd say around three hundred thousand.
If we count indirect kills, like allowing a cruise liner to be destroyed in Double Agent, then about forty million.
All kills, both be it monsters, indirect kills, direct kills and the Total War games, several hundred million.

I used to play DEFCON, and that's global thermonuclear war so in the Billions. Factor in the 4X space games wheree you could destroy planets... Yeah LOTS of virtual people have died at my hands.

In my defence they were all dicks. I still don't understand why the Federation declared war on me that time in Birth of the Federation I feel justified in bombing the planet from orbit.

played sins, several civ games, defcon, hearts of iron (Nazism! yay!) and various others. couple of billion in this case (don't forget you bomb planets to remove the entire population in sins). if you want my personal count, then i'd imagine 10,000-100,000. dropped a few thousand in TF2 alone, i'm sure.

Well, plenty, back in RTS and 4X days
Now I mostly stick to RPG and FPS games, so less

In Spore I went on killing spree on Grox
Cleared ~2/3 of their colonies (took me 6 months of intensive gaming)
I think that alone is around 1 billion

captcha: more better
Well, if you're talking about body count then yes, more is always better

I've been gaming for almost twenty years, with my preferred genres being: FPS, ARPG and RTS, I'd say that I've clocked up a good number of kills. In Skyrim I had killed 300ish people just on my serial killer playthrough. So yeah, I'm going with a lot, somewhere around 100,000 to 1,000,000.

Well, I've played a lot of Dawn of War, Total War and Civilisation: Revolution (In which I followed the policy of 'the fuck is diplomacy?'), so that's a few dozen continents worth of people.
Then there's every CoD/Battlefield/Generic Brown Shooter game I've played, plus Borderlands 1&2 and all the Halos.
And Final Fantasy 7,8,10,1-2,12 and 13 pushes it up higher.
Then, onto RPGs. Demon's Souls, Oblivion (+both expansions), Skyrim, Deus Ex: HR, Prototype, Fallout 3, FO:NV, Fable 2/3, Dragon Age: Origins/2...

I've probably committed apocalyptic genocide a few dozen times over.
And I liked it.

If you play Civ V, think of this: Based on the demographics page, you can easily work out that each unit of population in a city is 300,000 people. Nukes + Me = easily over a billion. I think each nuke strike is at least 900,000 peeps.

Oh shit, with all the American paratroopers that mindlessly paradropped onto my base in Red Alert 2 skimishes only to get massacred by my defenses, I couldn't even begin to guess. Gotta be in the millions anyway.

Edit:

Crap, I never thought of that. Of course I don't like to use Nukes, I prefer to use the Giant Death Robot. Much more fun. Anyway I suppose that puts my kill count up into the billions, possibly the 10's of billions.

Easily over 30 billion. All thanks to Plague Inc. :D
Although I may have played other mass murder games, but I can't remember.

Jesus, I don't know. If we're strictly going with humans that I've personally shot, stabbed, poisoned, blown up, run over, consumed, elbow dropped from a skyscraper, beaten to death with a flying cow etc... I'd still say over 100,000. I would instantly count Mass Effect, because Turians and Krogan are people too, by video game rules... adding zombies, robots, Locust, Uruk-Hai and similar monsters slaughtered by troops under my command, would surely bring the count close to a million. Include flash games like Pandemic 1 & 2 in that, and I've committed crimes against nature that I can't even begin to comprehend. I've probably wiped out enough people to impress an entire Warhammer 40K faction.

And to think, I'd most likely be considered Lawful Good...

Well, in Sword of The Stars I've wiped out several planets, for example, so I'm pretty sure my kill count is way over a billion.
