EDIT: Some people have commented on the use of nerd vs. geek, I don't differentiate between them, really.
Would someone give me a clear defining description that shows any and all difference between the two terms? Tyvm.

I am pretty nerdy, I've tried everything from D&D to Magic the Gathering to Warhammer 40,000 and Star Trek and more anime shows than you could name. Oh, and I own the original Battlestar Galactica series from the 70s on DVD, as well as an original 512 MB iPod Shuffle. I also own anime figures and signed Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman books, in one case Good Omens which they both collaborated on which is signed by both of them.

I also paid to see Star Wars Episode 1 and when I saw it as a kid I LOVED Jar Jar Binks.

Can't dethrone him, but hey, I own close to all of the Terry Pratchett books and have made my own d20s. I also calculated the necessary energy to stop a car in a comic strip, read more than 30 comics online, and read most of the works of H.P. Lovecraft, Jules Verne, C.S. Lewis, and J. R. R. Tolkien. I have watched large amounts of classic Doctor Who, am greatly familiar with Farscape, all Star Trek series, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, encyclopaedic knowledge of Monty Python's Flying Circus... I would think I belong in his court somewhere.

I neglected to mention the whole "Getting engineering degree at Georgia Tech" with all the calculus, physics, computer science and materials science that entails.

I consider myself a nerd, and I love it. I've got somewhat of a social life, but that doesn't change the fact that I fucking love video games, computers and movies. Whenever I'm at home I find myself either on the 360, PC gaming or the internet. I'm studying film right now and plan to take on a course in Games Design when I'm finished. I own about 60 games and about 250 DVDs. I suppose I collect figurines (Altair from AC, Brotherhood of Steel, some Halo ones, which were given to me against my will and a Val Kilmer figurine from the movie Heat). So yeah, I'm pretty nerdy and I'm having fun. Life is good.

ok ... here are a few things about me

1. i don't have much of a social life (but that's by choice)
2. i've been laid four times .. but it's been a good few years since my last shag
3. i do combat sports in my spare time and i have healthy body
4. i play mmo rpg's for days at a time
5. i read comic books and draw anime and tribal and i watch a hell of alot of anime
6. i play guitar and i make amv's haha
7. after extensive devil may cry and cockiness from boxing class i now walk, talk and act almost 100% like dante (not lying here)

I used to be more, but ever since high school, it has been declining, while i do have an almost $4,000 computer, 3 game consoles, 42" LCD and like some nerdy movies, i'm really not that much of a nerd anymore, i only play games on the weekend, and that's barely, i'm more social now with a girlfriend who guys would kill for (I still wonder every day how i was lucky enough to get her,) I still have my semi-nerdy moments, overall, i'm in a pretty good balance.

My favorite game series is Resident Evil and Jak & Daxter. I have an unhealthy crush on Albert Wesker and Alfred Ashford. I have on, two occasions, dressed up as video game characters. I have over a dozen game character toys and anime character toys. My collection of Anime far exceeds that of my "normal" movies. I have seen EVERY Harry Potter movie at the theater and read all the books, which I bought in hardcover. I have every Terry Pratchett book and Sandman is one of the mostest awesome comics ever printed. I also read manga and write fan fiction...I named my dog after Samus Aran from Metroid...I have game related bumper stickers on my car and have had three letters printed in video game magazines...
