Have a few friends that I hang with, have a few family members that I talk to. I've come to appreciate the value of being social, but I'm not outgoing.
I have four or five tight friends I meet weekly (I say "or five" because one of them has a friendly rivalry with me that's gone a little bit far).

Thats me at least 4 nights a week. And no I don't drink alone. Ok, correction, I don't drink bourbon alone.
I was extremely introverted in high school, but I really 'came out of my shell' living in china for a couple of years, and now as a uni student my social life is continuous (literally - I generally have friends around to crash at my house every night and continue hanging out with them as soon as we wake up, head into campus with them, go to classes and meet up with more, go to the bar, go home with a bunch of people late at night, rinse, repeat. Showering and taking a dump are generally the only times I spend alone.)
I know to some of you that sounds like your worst nightmare, but I have very few personal space issues and I like it that way. Each to their own I guess.
Of course all of this is only accurate during semester - I guess I get all my 'alone time' downtime over the hols...

I am very anti social. I talk to people at work on the phone, and i hold back on going out and seeing them in person, and when at parties, i seem to shrink back and find someone who is bored/lonely but shy

Excluding online interactions, I'm almost the exact opposite. It's like I'm borderline antisocial. Recently, I've noticed that almost every time my friends from work want me to meet up with them to hang out, I start feeling just uncomfortable. I keep hearing a voice saying, "Man, you don't belong here. Just leave. I bet no one will notice if you leave, so why don't you leave?" Sometimes I leave up to 3 hours before everyone else, and other times I stay. Don't get me wrong, at times I have fun...but it's not that often. I'm not sure why I'm like this.Aylaine said:

I like hanging out with friends and my girlfriend when I can outside of my workload from junior year and prepping for College.
i keep to myself mostly, but i have a good personality, so if you start up a conversation we could easily talk for 3 hours. people just like me, and i enjoy the social interaction. its the "hi" and "bye" i have trouble with
I'm bogged down with school work and regular work right now so I'm not very social outside of my classmates. That's really the only people I have time to talk to. Even then it's usually about school.
After school, not a lot because I'm apprehensive about starting topics, I was never a very social person.
