I dunno know about in the states, but here in Australia, the items on display are all locked down to the tables with metal, number combination, bike chain sort of things

When will people learn, there is always people in the world you can't trust, in saying that they were probably Apple employees

Yes thy should have shown it to show other stores to increase security and such. Plus, it gives all the other robbers a window to do this again. If these robbers were REALLY smart, they would have planned to rob 3-4 stores like this.

I wonder if anyone will notice the suspiciously large increase in their bank accounts, and the facts that they will quit their jobs.

Hmmmmmmmm...
In America?

I doubt it!

One problem I saw was they didn't take the power cords but I'm sure their fence won't mind.

Metal shutters & Kensington locks - if I were the stores insurance company I wouldn't pay out for their complete lack of security.

Yes both can be overcome but it would mean the thieves would have to take longer so not as get as much as the smash and grab in the vid or simply be put off enough to steal elsewhere.

Agreed I can just imagine an apple employee showing the insurance company the video.

Insurance guy: "So you did absolutely nothing to prevent a forced entry?"

Apple guy: "We got a security guard"

Insurance guy: "He was smart enough to assume that your glass wont protect him from bullets"

Apple guy: "Dang"

Pfft, Amateurs..
I kid, I kid.

I find it funny as he says: "Watch as the thieves show skilled practice!"
They... threw something through a window? Woohoo, they must be masters of breaking and entering, for sure.

And OP: I'm sure people would have broken in, regardless of the footage that was shown. It's a nice store.
Those plate glass windows aren't easy to break. Throwing a brick doesn't do shit. You'd probably have to get it with a sledge hammer or something.

"And all in 31 seconds flat! Leaving only the price tags behind!"

He sounds like he's cheering them on like a sports anchor!

It's like they tried to make it sound like a great idea.

No need for dickishness, have you ever seen a store that just sells apples?

I wish there was a godly voice in life. I'm sure it would be shouting, "PWNED" every few seconds through that robbery.

And Godly Voices make EVERYTHING sound awesome.

On Topic though, I wanted to toss the action commenter through the glass myself.

"savvy enough to wear masks"?

Really? Wearing a mask when robbing a store is now considered "savvy" these days? Since when? What criminal would be stupid enough not to wear a mask?
Well, I know when I rob a store, I like to introduce myself to the people I'm robbing, shake hands, and ask them about their day...

Wait, what's the purpose of the mask again?

Of course not. And that only added to my confusion.
