If he/she's a gamer...slowly delete every save file they have while they watch. Jail's ok too (depending on what the motivation was, as a lot of others have said).

Are you people mad? Some of you actually want to end their life? This is a non-violent crime that just took some peoples credit card numbers, so unless you are a victim of the credit card theft or lost any money at all, I don't see why you want them dead.

Send up an alarm on the internet that we caught the hacker, and he'll be released from (insert current location here) without protection in two days.

Then do that.

Honestly, as far as I know psn users are not worried as much about their credit cards as they are about not being able to play online, register new games, and pushing back the release of "PS4"

Set him free, and point him in the direction of Xbox Live, you know what they say about tolerance and all that. Both being down would give me a chance to finally get some PC games done.

Walk up to him, untie him, and promptly give him a handshake before then hiring him. Seriously, anybody who can actually manage to get through one of the most well-known and well-established companies in the world deserves a job and some serious respect. Yeah, the fact that he let out all of that info was pretty uncool, but I think that I would then use half of his salary for however long it takes to repay for the amount of money lost as compensation.

True, I'm mainly a PC player so I don't suffer from this too much, but that's honestly how I'd deal with him.

I know, but I'm just shocked that some people wish death upon those who took their entertainment away for a few weeks.

It's easier to wish death on people than it is to cause death, if the hacker is actually given to the psn fanboy mob none of them would actually hurt him/her.

Wow .. So many people with thier heads up thier proverbial !@#@ on this , just like sony .. ALL Criminals should be prosecuted, and punished.. however this is hardly a new thing, and this is HARDLY the first big company to get hacked.. they just got hacked ULTIMATELY .. why ?? because thier security and customer support was and for the moment still is Sub par.

The only reason there is so much rage around is because Peeps cannot play or have access to online content . Demand better.. And yes by all means get and punish the perpetrators of this crime, such as it is. But dont think for one moment this is some kind of "Special situation" that "Centered out PS3 users" .. That is Naive as it gets imo.
