how is this even a question? look at what your car is worth online, and make your decision. don't be stupid and throw money away.

Why are you doing this? I just recently got my driving license I would love to have a car now. But if you really don't want it, then I can't understand why you're not just selling it. You would get more money then the console is worth, which means that you could buy the 360 and after that you still would have money left.

Ebay! Auction your car with $400.00 as the starting bid with no reserve and pick up only...

You can't lose.

Wow you are really not using your brain. Just looked online and saw 2002 Ford Focuses going for at least 5000. Just wow.

Okay now that I have enough of you upset I will further explain why the cheap trade. The car needs about $3000-4000 in repairs to get it back into a fine working order. It still runs and drives but its back windows don't work, the truck is dented in and won't close and latch most of the times, it needs new tires and brakes, and probably an overall tune up.

Plus I am trading the car to my sister and her fiance. He is a handy man and knows how to fix cars so it might be super cheap for him to fix, but I figure if I am on his good side I can have assistance when I need help around my new house we just bought.

But still a car for an xbox this might be a first time ever that this type of trade has occured.

Well, if you realistically don't need it then it's a waste of money to keep it I guess. So sell it, but maybe the money could be better used (if you already have an Xbox that is).

How about sell it? You could get like 2000-6000 bucks if it's in good shape... That would be equal to like 30 Xbox 360 Slims.......

30 * 300 - 9000

Sorry just had to make out the equation for you. Also Kelly Blue Book a 2002 Ford Focus in rough condition before spouting it could net me $6000

You can literally sell a broken down unfunctioning vehicle(won't even start) for parts at an auction for more than an Xbox 360 Slim costs.

You should really look into just selling your vehicle normally and buying yourself a new xbox rather than losing thousand(s) of dollars(depending on the condition of the vehicle).

I don't even know the individual parts of a car so I would be terrible at piecing it out. However like I said before its more of an insane nice gesture towards my future brother in law more than a sane business move.

Good gods that silly. Somehow I think that just selling the Focus would net you a lot more cash than just trading it in for a Slim. Is it really in that bad a condition that it's juts worth $300?

I'm going with everyone else here; sell the Focus, buy a Slim from that money and just do other fun stuff with the rest of the cash. Or tuck it in a savings account, a little extra savings never hurt anyone.

It's nice that you love your brother in law and all, but really, we're talking hundreds or even thousands of dollars here. In today's economy I would never ever just waste that. Heck I wouldn't in any economic climate! That's a lot of cash right there.

i don't know it sounds like a fair trade one fix or repair daily for a different fix or repair daily
how ever it is pretty silly since a car is worth far more than a console
