i can't be the only person whose noticed how much assassins creed 1 sucked? can I? I played it expecting to like it and was surprised in a bad way. it was repetitive and the running and jumping wasn't a six billionth as good as prince of Persia (sands of time trilogy anyway)all the missions are a repetition of one another and i swear i could have written a exact layout of the story before i even finished the game (no i didn't visit Wikipedia don't even bring it up) and was i supposed to like Altiar. i swear I'm the only sane person left on earth. maybe i should of turned this into a user written review but i couldn't be bothered to do that. am i just insane? Am i just watching to much zero punctuation? Have i raised any good points? did the appeal go over my head? There were things i liked about it. but after the 2nd or third assassination i didn't like it again. should i bother playing assassins creed 2?

I honestly can't tell if there is an option for "I agree, the first one was kinda bad but the second is a lot better." I don't even understand.. what?

Rule #1 of the internet:

[HEADING=1]You are never the only one, ever![/HEADING]

I liked AC 1, I thought it was awesome.

And yes you should bother playing Assassin's Creed 2, it's a great game.

I have not played the second one because the first one was a repetitive piece of shit.

...You could've written an exact layout of the story for that game? Really? Really?

So, theres this group of assassins, and in modern day times, the templars capture an ancestor of the assassins and strap him up in a machine to learn about some ancient artifact that grants immense power to those that have it(or something like that, I forget exactly). Assassins try to break you out, and you eventually obtain the "eagle eye" ability because you are becoming more in tune with your ancestral self.

You really could have written that out without having ever played the game?

The game was repetitive, but enjoyable regardless as far as I was concerned. Different strokes for different folks anyway.

And you're about, what, 2 years late?

It seems you've been forced to whip this rule out alot lately.

Assassin's Creed 1 was mediocre at best, but Ass Creed 2 is the dog's bollocks.

We've all been over this...

I loved AC1. It was repetative but it had those awesome cities to explore and the gameplay was very fluid and fun. If we didn't have the first, we wouldn't have the sequel which would be tragic.

I actually agree with most of the posters above me.

Bad games with an appeal i just can't find.

no. you are not the only person, and if i hear one more person whine about them being the only one who hates X object, i'm going to take a dead fox and bludgen someone to death with it, then burn their corpse on their birthday.

also, i've heard AC2 gets rid of most of the repedetiveness, but i havn't really played either game.

Don't like the poll answers so I'm making my own.

I agree with you, AC 1 was a bad game, too repetitive. I'm not looking forward to buying 2.

i didn't say with out ever playing the game but after playing it for about a quarter of the way through

i could not have written it never having played it but i could have written about roughly half way through

Have you been living under a rock? A ton of people hated AC 1. I'm of the few who liked most of it, really. It's a repetitive structure and the combat is... iffy. Of course it's not as good as Sands of Time. Ubisoft can't very well make a better game after making what is almost the most perfect game of the generation. It's a different series with its' own credentials, so don't compare it to something that's quite different.

Also, your poll is horrible. Too much 'freak' and still leaving sides out. Bonus points for using 'dood' though. And you might want to learn how to capitalize...

Just for future reference, when you quote someone, just go down to the end of the quote and hit enter once or twice and write what you want. I looked at it when it said you quoted me and was confused because I saw nothing. It looks as if you just quoted me and thats it.

As for what you said...You didn't really say much of anything though on the other hand. I still don't believe you could've written the rest of the story based on a quarter of the game.
