Yea, that's just you being a dick about it. Also you're assuming that the girl is young or has idiot parents (anyone who cares if their 35 year old daughter gives their husband a blowjob is an idiot, although they probably don't want to hear about it), her parents are alive, and her parents will find out.fede134 said:Do you think the parents of that girl would not be hurt a little bit if they found out? victims!
I wouldn't report my worst enemy for a victimless crime. Maybe prostitution, but only if it was prostitution the prostitute had no choice in since that's rape.JRslinger said:Lets say you have a friend who committed a victimless crime such as: used an illegal drug, owned/carried a weapon illegaly(not including explosives/WMD's)or had sex with a prostitute. I wouldn't turn them in and hope you wouldn't either.
The user's family and friends are outsiders and pretty irrelevent if you ask me.fletch_talon said:And before anyone asks, my opinion on drugs is that there is always a victim, whether it is the user and their family/friends or just the user, someone will be a victim, whether they agree or not. Kinda like statutory rape victims, they might not consider themselves a victim but personally I don't consider anyone under 16 (if not 18) able to competently decide whether sex is a good idea or not.
How is statuary rape comparable to a crime that only hurts the victim's families? With statuary rape, the person who actually had sex with the criminal is the victim. With a crime that hurts someone's friends/family indirectly they didn't necisarily do anything.
I agree about people under 16 not being able to decide on sex, but I think there's no good way to punish two 15 year olds for having sex (if you punish them both you're punishing the victim, if you're gonna send the oldest to jail you're deciding who the victim is with nitpicking, if you send the male to jail you're sexist) so I think it's best we keep the age of consent laws to stop pedophiles.
