You obviously have not had any contact with the World of Darkness from White Wolf. A few already mentioned it. Those Twilight 'vampires' would piss their pants if they'd ever encounter a WoD elder, never mind an Antediluvian. Since I started playing I haven't been able to look at any other vampire adaptation the same way. All the others just don't cut it. And I'm not talking about the video games, they've been dumbed down a lot. The tabletop is, in my opinion, by far the best vampire adaptation out there and I don't see it getting topped anytime soon.Trivun said:Great, thanksstabnex said:. So I chose 'other', because I really disagree with stabnex about the WoD vampires being similar to the Anne Rice vampires. They are so much more.

I agree with you, I'd miss food and daylight too much (I know not all vampires die from it). In fact I've always loved the daytime more than the nighttime.

I said Bram Stoker but I just remembered the vampires from the Nightwatch book series, become a greater vampire and it's good times all round (all you have to do is drink ALOT of blood to become a greater) actually being anything from the Nightwatch series would be fun. Probably a combat mage cos they can do some powerful stuff.

I mean, vampires drink juices that came from human beings; splicers drink juices that come from humans/little girls that hang around with scary fat guys in scuba-suits. I'd personally rather die than become a vampire, but if I was captured by vampires and not given an oppurtunity to commit suicide before being vampirised, I'd want to be a vampire from the Supernatural TV show. I could only be killed by decapitation, sunlight is only really annoying, and I get super senses and strength. I would then proceed to hunt down every other vampire I could until they were all dead or I died trying.
I wouldn't want to be a vampire, but if I had to pick I would be exactly like Dracula. You know.....the ORIGINAL vampire. Not like these posers with superpowers and half-baked immunities to well established vampire weaknesses.
