No. There's no culture of that sort of thing around here either, so I don't see any possible benefit.

I think circumcised looks a lot nicer but I don't think that reason alone is enough to risk complications.

I'd let my son choose for himself when he's old enough to decide.

I have no spiritual or logical reason to do so, so I wouldn't count on it.

Maybe if it was a package deal, kind of like 'have a baby, get half off on the circumcision' then yeah I might jump for that deal. /sarcasm

No, no, no, no.

Male circumcision has no effect on the male's ability to reach orgasm. Female circumcision os the cutting or burning off of the clitoris, essentially making it impossible for female's to experience sexual pleasure or achieve orgasm if done properly.
I would argue that "circumsised" people get desensitized simply because the "Glans" (or however you call it) is exposed and rubs against your underwear/leg/watever when you are walking, and people who are "uncut" have the foreskin to protect themselves, I don´t really know how proportionate it is to the actuall "feel" both people have, but I do know that its a real concern for me, I didnt circumsised my son even though my ex wife wanted to.

also, after looking at some sites where they show how circumcision can go horribly wrong, i found my self pleased that my parents didnt partake on such an act, I would call it a barbaric act but as it was stated before, it is all a matter of where you grew up and how society around you sees it.

other than religious concerns, I can´t possibly begin to immagine what other cause could come to mutilating the penis of a newborn child, they talk about hygiene, but there are thoudsands of uncut people that live like that every day and I still have to see reports of a massive outbreak of fungus or simmilar thing on that population, so I dont really believe that is a real concern, and looks??, seriously?? you think you are going to get a girl horny enough to sleep with you and when she sees your penis she is going to yell and point "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING"!? hahahaha, call me amused (BTW, in sexual pleasure, having foreskin helps at making coitus more enjoyable for females, and it also helps when they are not lubricated enough because the foreskin stays in place while the glans is free to move around)

No
1) I wouldn't want my parents getting rid of something that isn't theirs.
2) when he is old enough he can decide what to do with it

It makes your penis easier to clean. And slightly better looking, I guess. Cocks are ugly no matter what.

Also I will let them cut it, I don't care. It will be easier before he can think
and 3) I'm not cut but am considering it since everyone says they look better...but I agree with this guy, cocks are ugly no matter what.

Oh man not THIS thread again.

Everyone posting here is only thinking ONE thing:

"I was / was not circumcised and believe it's the right / wrong thing!" Or more specificity "My dick's better than yours since I am / am not circumcised, yet I don't know how the other life lives but I know mine's better."

Non-consensual child mutilation?

Yes please...

[sub]And due to the fact that it will be easy to interpret this post as bitterness for past wrongs done to me, I will go ahead and state that I am intact.[/sub]

I won't say "circumcise him, please", but if the nurse/doctor recommends it, why not.

Cut, by the way.

This. He was born with it so let him keep it untilhe decides otherwise or it has a negative impact on his life.

Pretty happy my parents opted for the snip-snip at birth. Any more skin in that nether region and I'd be custom ordering boxers.
Actually tho, compared to uncut dudes, mine looks more streamlined and I've know a shit-ton of women who refuse to sleep with dudes who aren't cut.
So definitely yes.

It's entirely pointless, except in a minority of cases where the foreskin is too tight, or becomes too tight.

I personally had too-tight-foreskin thing, and it was treated in another way.

No definitely not. When my wife/girlfriend/volunteer brings my beautiful baby boy into the world, the last thing I'm going to do is start having bits cut off him. I just don't know why I'd do that.

Only for medical reasons. If he later decides he wants to be circumcised, he can do so, of course.

I don't really get the whole "cut is more attractive" thing either. Intact means there's more to look at, more to play with, no scar, and it has more sensitivity.

Unless it causes problems then no, when he grows up he can make the decision that I personally believe is ONLY a decision that an adult can make. So Medical reasons yes, otherwise no.
