I'm cut, all my friend are cut, save maybe 3 in total.

For my kid? Well, probably most likely yeah. I never felt weird about being cut. I was talking to my buddy who isn't and he said he never felt weird about it.

Ya'll seem to be over synthesizing the probability that being cut would have a detrimental effect on the mental health of your kid. When around here that isn't the case.

That's the mother's decision.

I honestly don't give a fuck. Not my dick, not my problem.

Though I will say this: circumcision DOES make it look less like some kind of hell-demon... but not by much.

2 things

1 i hate people whole treat circumcised people like we were somehow a victim that was mutilated and changed, we weren't it does not affect me in any way shape or form that particularly care about, and it's my fucking choice what i do to my kid or what i don't do, and truth be told i would do it.

2 i had it done as a infant and guess what I"M FUCKING GRATEFUL, because i probably would have had to have it done as a teenager, and to be honest, i'm grateful it was done WHEN I CAN"T REMEMBER IT as opposed to when I'm fully aware and have to deal with the healing, and will remember that for the rest of my life. that would ACTUALLY BE traumatizing while getting cut young is NOT. also there are less chances of a mistake or botch than when your younger younger, and you'll heal faster.

i'm going to chance it and run have a day com when my son may need to get it when he's 13 for a medical reason it would traumatizing as hell and i wouldn't stand for it.

as to reduced pleasure, ok? your point? do i really NEED more sensitivity? i can't walk around in loose shorts for crying out loud, it's NOT an issue, you seem to think we can't feel anything, if anything it is a VERY minor loss at most, drop it.

this does NOT ruin your sex life, it doesn't have any real effect on it, it's not an issue, it my choice as a parent when i become one, and it is not nearly as bad as you people make it out to be. please just drop the issue, it's not worth it people.
My answer is much the same as this, albeit differently worded.

Also, this has been brought up numerous times already, but it still remains true. Uncircumcised penises look disgusting. Circumcised penises are unpleasant enough as it is, but their uncircumsized brethren look like entirely different organisms as opposed to a natural extensions of the human body.
So what you're saying is that the cut penis is more natural than the uncut. Right.

Hell no. No good reason to do it unless a later complication makes it necessary.
Penises aren't for beauty contests so them being ugly is irrelevant.
We have soap and running water so the hygeine reasons for it go out the window.
Circumcision's STD prevention is of a negligible size( as in the best way to prevent STDs is something newer, a condom. Okay technically the best way to avoid STDs is to not have sex but that is neither here nor there).
It removes quite a few nerve endings, so there is less sensivity (how you view that is up to you).

Serious question at anyone out there that likes men (sexually). Let's say you meet a guy, he likes you, you like him. One thing leads to another and you are about to have sex but suddenly, you discover he is uncircumcised. Would it really sway you out of sex with the guy like several people throughout this thread have claimed?

No child of mine, will ever be circumcised. Ever.

I will never intentionally conceive with a woman who would want her children circumcised, and if I accidentally do or she changes her mind later, ***** can go to hell--I'll use any legal means necessary to preserve my baby's genitals. I'll take the case to the supreme court if I have to.

Circumcision is one of the most grotesque and monstrous primitive, barbaric rituals that still exist in the civilized world today, and if you come near my child's junk with a sharp object, prepare to have it jammed up your urethra.

Hell no. That's a terrible idea, if they want to tear apart their penis they can do it, but I'm not forcing them to.

That is, assuming I ever do have a son. It's kind of unlikely.

Well, i am circumcised, not my choice though. Mom had it done not long after i was introduced to oxygen. Still, i kinda would like to know how it would truly feel if that hadn't been the case.
Either way, just so people on here know, most doctors suggest it, or nurses, or people in families sometimes too, in the U.S. and explain the benefits to the delivering mother and father.
Some simply don't know what to pick at that point without prior research and figure that the doctor must know best. So, bye bye baby foreskin!

ugh....

Plus, i probably wouldn't do that to my kid, if i ever had one.

I have been in that situation, and no. I didn't immediately turn tail and run, but I didn't ever get physically intimate with him again.

No. His body would be his when he turned 18. Until then I'd be tasked with bringing him healthy, sane and whole until adulthood.

I would discourage him from doing it even in adulthood, though I wouldn't be a dick about it however.

No. That is his decision to make and it would be totalitarian of me to make that choice for him.
