from existance means it never existed so all the people who are saying mario don't know how much that would damage gaming as a whole.

I can't honestly say any one.

WoW helped introduce older generations to gaming through a social medium.
Halo helped define the modern FPS genre.
Half-Life is... half life.
Current iterations of Fallout and TES defined what it is to be in a sandbox.
Guitar Hero/Rock Band helps introduce people to music that they would have never listened to initially.
Final Fantasy in and of itself isn't a series. Additionally, it helped keep the console RPG genre alive in the west.
CoD has helped push online gaming in the FPS genre and continues to push it in the gaming world today.

Every franchise has a part to play in the world of gaming. And I see no need to force others to not play a franchise that they particularly enjoy. If I were dictator of a nation, or even the world for that matter, I sure as hell wouldn't be an evil, totalitarian one.

Halo, purely because of the Fanboys. Its a decent enough game, but its fanbase is unnerving to say the least...
Substitute "Halo" with "Half-Life" and you have the reason I nearly voted for that. You know, the same hurt fanboys posting on this thread "OMG WHO VOTED HALF-LIFE!?!?!?"

In the end though, music games, because I simply do not see the point at all. Nor do I really see how people can find it fun to ruin perfectly good music. If you want to listen to rockin' good music, why not just put on a whole CD while playing another game?

Any sports games. I'm looking at you Fifa, Madden etc... >_> I hate how those "games" take up a good 40% of the stores that sell games around where I live... >_>

None, why would I want to erase any art? It's like removing a book from existence, sure you might dislike the writing style but it's still art and it's not your right to take it away from the world. So for games, why would I want to remove a game like Half Life that is said to have contributed a great deal to the modern FPS. Why would I want to remove Fallout? It's clearly contributed a great deal to RPGs and they're real good fun.

So, my answer is clearly none.

None. It's not like it would do any good. Remove one, and some other equally annoying one would take it's place. Except Mario, remove Mario and it's unlikely that the games industry would've survived past the 80's.
Yeah seriously. Unless people are confused about the wording, when it says "remove any game from existence" I'm assuming it means past present & future, which would make it pretty damning/stupid to want to remove long running franchises like Mario or even Final Fantasy. Unless they're thinking it means to only stop them from creating more, which is much more understandable... though still pretty stupid in my opinion.

So going by the first explanation for my own pick, if I was being greedy and selfish I'd say Diablo. While widely popular it helped snuff out the CRPG genre that came before it, which I was much more a fan of, and created in the CRPG's place the hack & slash RPG genre which no one really cared for if it wasn't Diablo. So I guess WoW is pretty much the same thing, as it more or less englufed and defined the MMORPG genre and you have to wonder where we'd be now if there was healthy competition rather than one monolithic game that no one can compete with. Which of course is now been taken under the influence of Bobby Kotick and Activision.

So let's just summarize by saying that I would personally be much happier if Blizzard had stuck to strategy games and stayed away from RPG's.

I think every game after that is garbage and I hate all of the praise they have received. I don't think they deserve any of it.
So all THREE of them sucked? Well if you say so. But I found World At War fairly enjoyable.

OT: Halo. I had a long hard thought on it. And I found that Halo was the only game series that I could think of erasing where nothing of gain would be lost.

WoW... hands down. I'd say Call of Duty for the two latest ones, but CoD4 and Cod1 and 2 were good.

I voted for halo, but the one that needs to be removed from existance is ET for the Atari 2600, it was so bad the Spoony One had to play it, while he was practically dead.

Oh, sorry. I hope I didn't offend you in any way. I've just never been one for that particualr franchise, and Twilight Princess' uncomfortable undertones of pedophilia/beastiality turned me off completely. Would you like an internet cookie to make up for it?

...What? I thought it was funny.

Wow. Trying to start a flame war much?
I voted WOW just because it's the only franchise up there that I don't like.
