I'd probably shrug it off. He doesn't enjoy the same kinds of games that I do (for the most part). Honestly, I wouldn't give a rat's ass what he thinks. He's an entertainer who gets paid to ***** and moan.

Well he tears apart just about every game he gets, so I wouldn't think on it too much.

Laugh, thats it Laugh, because I didn't screw up the graphics or the gameplay, I write the story and I'm sure he enjoyed the story at least.

I'd like to hear what he bashed at, and see watch all the people that can't make their own decisions stop playing my game.

They deserved it.

Ca-ching!

No one takes Yahtzee seriously anymore, however this will be a great form of advertisement.

For example, look at Monster Hunter 3 or Pshychonouts.

None of the above, as I'd probably laugh. Being part of the development team means that I'm probably going to be well-aware of all the game's shortcomings that I would've wanted to fix before releasing it (only to be shot down by executive meddling), so I'd appreciate it.

Then again, what the hell do I know? I've never created anything worth the time it would take to criticize it.

I would remember that he is not a reviewer and whose goal is to entertain. And laugh at his jokes about it.

I wouldn't care because I know I am just one developer of many that he picks on.

I'd cry at the sight of my baby getting torn to shreds...

Then take notes to see what I could improve while spamming Yahtzee with hate mail...

Remember, developers have said they LOVED his shredding of their games, the developer of Dark Void even sent a letter of THANKS to the guy.

I'd laugh, but maybe take some notes. If I was to make a similar game or even a sequel, I would want every bit of criticism. He would be a gold mine for me. I'd probably send him a note thanking him for reviewing it and maybe even ask if he had any further criticisms. Maybe even ask him if he had any suggestions for the future game. Even if he said "don't make a sequel", I would take that into consideration. He may be a comedian and maybe not the most serious reviewer, but every review is important.

I would remind myself that he purposely makes his videos to tear the game apart rather then offer an objective review. Then I would see if any of his comments were valid (sometimes he's just being a real nitpicker and picking on nothing) and make a note of any problems he has. Then I would add these notes to my notepad of problems that people generally had and use this to improve future games that I work on. Then I'd send him a picture of our rival developer's game protagonist in drag.

He's an entertainer. His reviews don't mean shit. Too many people seem to take him seriously.
