I'd take the leg, easy. While he'll probably never run again, a prosthetic leg will at least allow him to walk. It's not so easy to replace an arm though and he'll only ever have one hand for the rest of his life.

And why do you find the right choice to be leg?

Because you can replace a leg with a prosthetic amazingly easily nowadays, with almost no difference in your life. Meanwhile, prosthetic arms are still awful for the most part, and so would have a greater impact on your life.

The leg. You can replace a leg and most people get used to it and learn to ignore it. And arm is something everyone would see forever and would/could seriously hinder the person.

They make prosthetic legs that generally work great. Arms, well you can replace those but you won't get anywhere near the range you can get out of the original. I'd do the leg.

I'd cut off his arm, but aformentioned powers never said how much of his arm to cut off I'd cut off the tip of his pinky finger. Nobody really uses the pinky for much anyways, so everything works out! Hooray!

I'd cut his arm off, you can do most of the things with just one hand. But walking with one leg would be a bit harder...
