I would go with invincibility. Immortality is good and all but if you live long enough you are more or less likely to end up in a situation where dying would be preferable to actually living. For example, you fall into a deep chasm in the middle of nowhere. You can't find your way out and everyone who might have bothered to look for you are dead or unable to find you. I guess you spend your eternity in a hole in the earth slowly goin insane from hunger and lack of human contact. Not very exciting.

Just been thinking, Invincibility would be pretty cool, if you joined the army, for the rest of your life you would be impossible to stop or kill, you would literally be a one man army. Able to take down entire armies on your own. Heck, just strap bombs to yourself in case you get overwhelmed, detonate them, and you'll still be alive, as you're invincible.

It'd be really boring, living forever. Everyone you knew would be dead, and then the Sun would explode and you'd be floating through space for a bazillion years.
But if you're only immortal, the sun exploding would kill you. You can still suffocate/be exploded, you just never die of old age.

I think Immortality is highly underrated. Given all that time you could become an expert at everything, anyone seen groundhog day?
But then again Invincibility would be awesome too... I guess I'd just flip a coin.

Invincibility for me - I wouldnt want to live beyond the time of my peers - beyond the end of the human race. That would be boring!! I would jump out planes with no parachutes etc.

Immortality. People say I'd begin to hate life as every love and friendship will eventually pass away, but to be honest the time I'd have to experience everything I wanted would be simply awesome.
and after experiencing everything?
Well, I don't think I could ever get bored of being a master of drumming and guitar, so I'll be doing that forever.

Immortality and then dedicate a few thousand years into becoming skilled in the deadly arts so I may as well be invincible.

According to the OP, with immortality you could still die by accident or by getting shot. So, if live gets too much of a burden after thousand of years, simply put an end to it. Same situation in the chasm or whatever situation.

I would choose immortality, if i had to choose. But to be honest, I still think either of them would somehow taint your charakter.

Immortality sucks. There is the risk of getting captured or trapped instead of killed.
Eternal test subject for the government.

Failing that and you actually manage to fool everyone you are the father's son each generation, you will eventually become hopelessly outdated, with useless skills, primitive morals and your head filled with useless trivia.

With invincible you can also get trapped or captured, but they can't even stick a needle into you and it won't last forever.
You could also do stuff nobody else can do, like perform insane stunts and make a fortune.

Immortality.

Eventually probability would get me, but until that point I'd make the most of it. Although watching people I love die would be awful, it happens anyway and there's nothing you can do to stop it, so it's not worth the worry.

Invincibility. I find most of the fun in life knowing I'll die eventually, so I'd better get shit done while I can. If I was immortal, that motivation would be gone. Quite depressing, being immortal.

Immortaility, because there would be no real time limit on stuff you have to do, but at the same time, can experience the future, and still die at the very, very end of time.

Invincibility. I'd live my life without pain, fulfill every goal, then die as a normal person, leaving all my possessions to relatives.

Invincibility for many of the reasons already mentioned, but i'd prefer some kind of regenerative invincibility, one where your body can still be mutilated and maimed without pain and grow back any lost parts or organs almost instantly.
obviously for the sheer mindfucking possibilities of it, but also because it might actually come in handy! i could become my very own meat factory (would you eat human meat if it came from someone who wasn't even hurt by providing it? i know i would),and make a fortune out of it, could sell my parts to movie producers for some ultra realistic special effects, have some neat tricks to show off at parties or inversely, scare off anyone whose company annoys me, and if i ever got captured for whatever reason i could tear myself apart and escape through small holes or a toilet...the possibilities are endless!
yeah definately invincibility

You're taking recycling to a whole new level here. But would you be so willing to do this if you felt the pain. :p
