Definitely one year of happiness. Immortality has to be filled with a lot of disappointment, but a year of awesomeness will be, well, full of awesome!

Immortality. If I was completely and utterly happy, everyone else would be miserable. That would be fun but when I have an OK day everyone is miserable anyway. Either way I win, I'd rather win and live forever.

If immortality comes with super powers and pain pills, then yes, I'd go with immortality. If it doesn't, then I'd rather die within 8,760 hours, thank you very much.

If you pick immortal, are all your odds rounded off to ok? There's no chance of having a great day or anything?
Nope. It's more like you're life will continue to normal. The One year option makes it SUPREMELY fortunate for you. Theoretically, nothing can stop you in the first year from doing what you want. You could rule the world if you set your mind to it. Just that, you die at the end.

EDIT; Oh yeah, I forgot. No, you cannot use this option to gain Immortality. Stop trying to take a third option guys! That's not the Point!

Immortality because then I would have an eternity to achieve happiness rather than have it for a short amount of time and then lose it. Also I just want to be able to jump off skyscrapers and not die.

A year of happiness. Considering the amount of shit I have had to deal with so far in life I'd rather prefer that to immortality. Then again, as they say, there is no such thing as an easy life.

I would also like to state that it took a fair while to decide between this and the bacon.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That's hilarious! Everyone knows there's no such thing as happiness!

Immortality.
There is what can be perceived as happiness.

So I choose happiness.

Immortality. That way, I make my own Happiness. As long as my body repairs itself after a short amount of time and I can't die, Immortality. Otherwise Happiness.

Calumon: I'm always happy and Jack says he'll make sure I never die.

1 year of happiness vs a an eternity of average life.

on balance immortality for me and would try to take over a small african country and get them to install me as dictator for life

Immortality would get pretty fucking boring on a day-to-day basis. I guess I wouldn't need to feed myself or anything though, and I could survive the extremes of space (though with no propulsion system once the Earth dies I'd be pretty stuck). I'd like to see what Jupiter is like up close, and I could go inside the sun...

Still, the year of happiness would win out for me. Too much chance for immortality to be pretty rubbish, and that would get particularly boring.
