I said other, cuz either the rage virus from 28 days later or even one of the ones like Ebola that causes you to sweat blood, and vomit and convulse so yes an all around fun time.
That is the best Left 4 Dead zombie explanation I've heard.Doclector said:If you mean as in what would be worst to hit the real world, I'd say green flu.
Explanation:
This is the virus from left 4 dead, nicknamed "green flu" seemingly by "ceda". The advantage this has over other zombie viruses is that it can be spread not only by bites, but by pretty much the same methods as flu, although, the pre-reanimation symptoms are unknown. Posters asking people to wash their hands regularly suggest the bacteria can survive on surfaces for quite some time, meaning that not becoming infected would be alot harder than simply not being bitten, even the unturned infected would pose a threat, and it's not so easy to tell who they are. The incubation rate seems to vary, bitten infected can turn within minutes, or within days, making containment difficult. Immunity exists, but it is extremely low, and worse, these immunes could carry the virus. Even if you were immune, the sheer amount of infected would be enough to simply kill you. That's even forgetting the special infected, who seem almost designed to defy any biological containment. Tanks would crach through any wall, while hunters would simply jump over them. boomers would make clean up an issue, smokers and jockeys would make military barricades difficult to keep together. Meanwhile, chargers and spitters would kill countless already besieged survivors. Even with such vague details, such a virus could easily wipe the world out within months, years if we were lucky.
I hate to be so picky, but (as horrible as it is) necrotizing fasciitis is a condition caused by bacterial infection.dathwampeer said:They're all pretty samey really.
You want a real horrible virus. Try Necrotizing fasciitis.
That game is IMPOSSIBLE!!!enzilewulf said:Trojan virus
Hmmmmmmmmmm I would say my virus in Pandemic or what ever that online game is. I got every last place. HAHAH!
Well i was tempted to add the flood up there, but really they use an eveloutionary advantage to control the body, its not an infection. And i would love to drop a hunter in the vats just to see what comes out the other end.Vrex360 said:Man, that's a tough one.
I mean on one hand, the Blacklight virus from Prototype demonstrated time and time again that it is not to be fucked with. Turning people into zombies, making giant monsters, creating huge sentient tentacles and consuming and devouring everything it touches. Scary stuff really.
But then again, the FEV virus is responsible for the Death Claw. And anything that creates Death Claws has got to be made by Lucifer himself to turn a lovable little lizard into a flesh eating giant hell beast.
I would mention the Flood and Necromorphs but since those weren't options I'll just say I'm tied between Blacklight and FEV.

I had a feeling the sudden rise in votes for green flu may have had something to do with my disturbingly detailed knowledge. The fact that it's real does make it worse than any of the poll options, though...
But I couldn't really be bothered correcting it after posting. Plus I don't think all the ones the OP mentioned are actually technical virus'. I have a feeling most Zombie related media is usually bacterial or parasitic.
But when you get rite down to it there isn't much difference between a virus and a bacteria. Asside from the fact that virus' aren't actually living organism they work pretty much the same way as bacterium... sort of.
Yeah but heres the scary part about the Green Virus, Weve only seen the effects roughly 2 weeks after inital infection. If that extreme of mutaitons happened after only 14 days, Id hate to see what happens after a month. Although there is the off chance that i could hypothetically mutate into something benign. Slim but still a possabliity.Doclector said:I had a feeling the sudden rise in votes for green flu may have had something to do with my disturbingly detailed knowledge.
