Oh of course not. Well, not all the time. From what I've heard, there actually is a difference between casual sex and doing it with someone you love. The emotional aspect is what that difference is.

I admit, I'm guilty of fantasizing about different girls in my college. I have, however, noticed that it's a lot better with the ones that I really care about than with those whom I don't.

To touch on the second question. You can still love someone while cheating on them, but that it in no way makes the situation alright or justifiable. Considering love is made up of many important values like honesty and trust...you're pretty much questioning or ruining key values by cheating for pleasure.

Rather than differentiating between sex and love, we should be differentiating between lust and love. Guys have a MUCH HIGHER sex drive than girls, so they get horny more often. If the girlfriend doesn't want sex, but he does, then he's gonna want to get off anyway. The question is how he does so.

The biggest dilemma for guys in relationships is figuring out how to deal with loving a girl who doesn't want to have sex with you. You want to be with her, because she's everything in the world to you, but she won't/can't satisfy your sexual needs.

Sex is pure pleasure, and that is all. You can have sex, and then you can make love. They are two very different things, and unless you're totally thick you'd be able to tell the difference between them were you to experience it.

The way I differentiate the two is that making love involves sex.

So like, if sex = {something}, then making love = {sex+...}

Even if sex is not love, cheating is still wrong because its a violation of trust.
Sex and love are not the same thing, but people easily mistake the two so here it is so dumbed down it is essentially meaningless. enjoy. If you "love someone" because you want them physically it is lust. If you "love someone" and honestly care about their well being as a person it is love.

Bit on the unreliable side and especially not something to base disloyalty around, if someone actually wants to know they should simply ask - if they love them - as they said they did, they'd be honest without need of such a thing.

And to answer the actual threads question, No - sex is NOT loving someone! No way near! Sex is.... well sex! A good couple would know that, it's why I've always been a firm believer in open-relationships, it's proof to the couple and others that some trivial pleasure like sex is beyond the love they feel for each other. If they can't handle the thought of them getting pleasure from something else - then it's a pretty damn insecure relationship, I'd say!

I been think of things like alcohol - a lot of men (AND WOMEN) go to the pub or out to do their own thing, getting drunk or doing stuff with their own friends - that couple still love each other don't they? It's only petty insecurity, that sex will always mean love, in a free relationship with someone you truly care for - you shouldn't care if they go doing someone else, if your girl does something with another man (or visa-versa) You can't completely control someone lives, so what's the point of trying to control an urge so natural that you got a good chance they've been doing it long before they even met you - and of course perhaps long after!

I've never understood why people take sex to be such a colossal thing, if both in a couple agree that it's OK for the other to go do something with someone else, where's the problem? They both agreed to it! Only reason cheating is bad, is because they're lying in the first place.

Love. Entirely. To me, anyway. Some people mind find that a bit "soft" or "gay" or whatever, but that's how I see it. I had a bunch of girlfriends before my first time, but I didn't decide to have sex until my current girlfriend. The reason being that I never actually loved the other girls. Sure, I liked them, but by no means did I love them. Sure, I'm not gonna deny that there's pleasure involved, but I don't do it for pleasure. Not mine, anyway.

Okay first off, cheating is ABSOLUTELY wrong, on all accounts, no matter what.

But, I ultimately have to answer with yes and no. You don't need to have sex with your partner to prove how much you love them. You can have a healthy, loving relationship without it. However, by having sex with just your partner, you're proving that you're willing to commit to them, and ONLY them, without a doubt. So I guess what I'm saying is that sex is what you make of it. If it has meaning and feeling for you, then yes. If you only do it for pleasure, then no.
