It just strikes me as lucky that you did all that and it still works. I take extreme care of my consoles and therefore my PS1 still works perfectly after almost 15 years...
It has been 12 years and my N64 still is in mint condition and works perfectly.

Remember N64? When Nintendo had the best system out there? Good times.

Nintendo has always been the sturdiest in my opinion, but someone go hit their Wii and get back to me on this assumption.

they tested that on X-play back in the goodold days before it turned... boring. They dropped all three of the last generations consoles from ten feet, beat them with a sledge hammerand dropped some wheights on them. The ps2 was out in the first test, the xbox just hardly survive the second, but crumbled in the third, leaving the cube fine, and almost completely unharmed

Judging by the look of it, you could always lamp someone with it and do some damage without harming the gamecube...you could even sharpen the corners and tie some string to the handle and...I'm thinking too hard about this aren't I?
No no, keep going....Lol. Perhaps add some poison?

I've noticed that anything made by Nintendo is very dependable and reliable. I remember un-wrapping my Gameboy Advance on Christmas, only to drop it down a flight of wooden stairs 10 minutes later, and it still worked perfectly fine, not a scratch on it.
The only one that was crap was the first version of the NES. It was due to 3 things. The connectors corroded easily, the connectors bent making contact even more difficult, and the lockout feature was finicky. I can't tell you how many times i watched the NES reset itself over and over...

Also....God, man..That Avatar? Seriously? It's freaky and hilarious at the same time. Isn't that the oxycleaner guy?

Probably. I've dropped it many times, and I've stood on it and it still works properly.

I have owned every single Nintendo console ever produced, and not a single has ever broken from abuse.
I've outright kicked my Gamecube, stepped on it, dropped it, punched it, thrown the controller at it, and actually have hit a friend with it. The poor thing became unusable after two years because the laser, of all things, gave out from playing it for a minimum of three hours every single day.
Also, Game Boy Advance SP is one of the toughest bastards I have ever seen. In frustration I have closed the screen, punched it with all my might, opened it back up, unpaused, and continued playing.
The S/NES are indestructible, N64 tough as all christ, and the Game Boy might as well have been made out of stone.
