Most people like the game. Just look at it's sales numbers, and how many people still play it.
This website just has a lot of haters.

Lol what a great marketing scheme that was, "hey you know what I'd like to do in my BRAND NEW version of this game? Play the old versions map....and pay for it too."TelHybrid said:Both.
The people are a bunch of foul mouth racist morons.
The game is a poorly coded piece of unbalanced crap that can't get host selection right on the peer to peer network, has a gimped PC version so that console fanboys don't get all pissy that their version isn't as good, a stupidly short 5 hour campaign (this game should be sold as an expansion) and over priced DLC. (1200MS for 3 new maps and 2 CoD4 maps? Fuck you!)
I, on the other hand, can.... and I think that majority of the populatiry comes from the fact that its a "Call of Duty" game (much like how a final fantasy game automaticly gets a 10/10 on all the video game websites), and it's the one made by Infinity Ward because the rest of the world despises Treyarch.Woodsey said:The game.
I can't believe anything so broken is so bloody popular.
Ahh thanks for the info. My experience with the game had been limited to the 360 Orange Box release and I didn't play it much. I had just assumed that with the different classes / counter classes it would be fairly balanced. Shame on Valve for giving veteran players more advantages than they already have. At least they weren't selling game play advantages like NHLarchvile93 said:Have to disagree with TF 2. People who get more achievements unlock new weapons (a great way to discourage team play as if just people abandoning their team to get the achievements for their own sake wasn't enough), not to mention the more you play the more hats you gets, some of which bost stats.
OT: The reason people complain about MW2 is the multiplayer is broken, simple is that. Also, I've never once seen the host migration work.
Um, actually...yeah they are. You can also buy the new hats and guns now, and new paint jobs too. At least you can't buy unlimited stat boosts; you can only wear one hat.TPiddy said:Ahh thanks for the info. Hmm, ok... that's not so bad though. That's more like a perk system then, but still... shame for selling better perks.archvile93 said:Um, actually...yeah they are. Yeah, I said X-ray vision; I swear, last night these people were killing me so fast that they had to looking through walls. I was going to say noob-tubin' but I'm guilty of that myself using the RPG.
