The trailer was filled with pop culture references and really obvious jokes. What does Lady Gaga or Alice in Wonderland have to do with Twilight? You could have had Edward shoot some random person on the street and gotten the same effect, the only reason to use Alice is for the iconography and that served no purpose in this context. I make funnier quips with my friends when watching the actual Twilight trailers, I don't need to pay seven dollars to watch some halfwits out-stupid me. I lost a few braincells just thinking about it.

Okay I admit I laughed a lot during it. xD I think people who hate Twilight will like it for some reason >.> It's a very cruel parody.

I think I would pay good money to see that unfold.

Though more on topic, that was both hilarious and disturbing - as most of these low budget parodies are. I still haven't got the mindfuck that is Disaster Movie out of my mind yet, unfortunately.

My prediction: the funny bits in the trailer are the only funny bits in the movie. Just like with Scary Movie.

Oh for fucks sake. Yes Scary movie 1 was funny. Every film since then has just been worse and worse. For fucks sake, how does this shit still make any money?

extremely low production values = less box office money needing to be made. kinda like shovelware on the wii I guess.

This crap is more like the shovelware for the PS2. This'd be Wii Shovelware if it was, like, 3D or had some other new technology that morons inexplicably hate.

OT - this looks better than Meet the Spartans, but every last one of my college's Film department "art" pieces look better than Meet the Spartans...

The thing about it is, they're aiming for a more femenine target audience. They'll likely tone down some of the jackassery, meaning that even if it's terrible, it won't be as mentally scarring as other "genre parody" movies. I've heard virtually all those jokes already, but its still amusing to see 'em in film. I may put it on my queue for my mail DVD service once it's in that format.
