Mine isn't real, or particularly grand. But it's mine and that's what makes it special.

And plus I can't stand getting tons of bristles all over the carpet.

My family had used the same artificial deathtrap for years.

They were too lazy to undecorate it last year(I was working for the Government. Not at home for Christmas) so I had to haul it downstairs with everything attached to it. I was wearing a wool sweater.

Bad idea when your family loves tinsel.

Nope, we've never had a real tree. My parents hate them too much because of their childhood. Had to pick up all the dead pine needles or something like that...I dunno. I've never really questioned it. Christmas = fake tree. Always.

The tree at my mother's house is real, but the one at my father's house is fake. So, there is really nothing for me to vote for. Ahh, headache!

I used to always get a real tree, it was kinda a tradition for me and my father to cut one down, but he passed away awile ago and ever since we've used the same fake tree, its nice, we don't have to put up the lights everyyear now.

I used to love the artificial tree we had- loved putting it together and everything... then I realized how much more fun it was to actually go out and get a tree...unless youre in a rush for some reason, the tree-hunting process is quite fun

Mine is real. Because it would not be christmas without having to chop off the top, clear up needles, saw the bottom a little so it fits in the stand and then get needles in your socks for months afterwards.

Seriously though, I have no clue what happened to it, it was like this when we got it. Apperantly it's originally a bush-form of the original coniferous tree which seems to have been cut in a fairly weird shape. It is fun to confuse people with it nevertheless, though.
Oh, so you didn't hang it from the ceiling to make it upside-down then? LAME! My sideways-wall-mounted tree will put your fake upside one to shame then.

The one where I celebrate it (my parents' home) is real.
I got a totally fake one in my apartment, though.

Fake. It's much easier because it doesn't drop needles everywhere, and you can use the same one every year.
