Disagree, there were times when I found him less funny but they were just a couple of months when his reviews didn't seem up to scratch. These days his reviews are as good as ever, in my opinion.

Has it's ups and downs. I find that reviews about less known games are generally funnier than the ones about popular games.

ZP never becomes boring, because yahtzee usually has a point and a new game makes for an interesting subject.

Zp has its ups and downs. Its not as funny as when I first watched it, because it was new and fresh. But its still fun to watch.

I think, pound for pound its as good as it ever was. So, I have no problem with it, it's a nice little five minute day brightener every wednesday.

I have and continue to enjoy Zero Punctuation for the sheer negative factor. Who wants to see all these phony positive reviews of games? I'd rather someone be brutally honest and sarcastic than pandering to the game developers just because a game is popular.
I get a good laugh out of him just ripping apart a game, regardless of how good it is. The point I get out of his reviews is that nothing is ever going to perfect. Anyone who believes a game is absolutely flawless overlooks the shortcomings the game suffers. I don't always agree with what he says, but he does raise good points about a game. After all, he is paid to be a critic... pretty much his job is dissect a game to find the flaws in it, either to challenge your conceptions of the game or for the sake of humor.
Perhaps people just get his sarcastic humor. For some, it is an acquired taste. I personally like it as it appeals to my own sense of humor. But as was said before, things move like the tides, and you have to take the good with the bad. If all his reviews were great, how would you know which ones to recommend? Overall, if you listen to the points he makes, usually he is spot-on with what he says. It gives you good reason to replay old games sometimes just to see if you can relate to what he was saying.

Yahtzee is doing just fine. I think it's his style that you are used to, perhaps? Just a thought. I agree that it's the best show on the Escapist (with Unskippable as a close second)

"im really starting to get bored of them because his reviews are less entraining and also he never talks about all the parts of the game (borderlands started this for me)"

Wait, Borderlands was the last vid, it's couldn't start anything yet...

I like it the same as yesterday, there are good videos and not-so-good, but overall I like them, it's far better than reading a review, and whatever he says doesn't changes how I see I game I know, so it's a good inversion of five minutes of my life.

It's free, it can make me chuckle sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.
If I saw a new up episode I'd watch it. So since it still has the power to draw me in I guess no, it's not boring me.

ZP isn't good, it's different, that is all. There is only so many times you can hear someone swear a lot to still think of it as a novelty. Once you have seen them enough times they stop being great and just become another feature of the weekly review grind. If I see ZP is reviewing a game I am interested in, I will watch. Otherwise I move on.

Some are great and some kinda suck. All in all it still gets me to come back every wednsday so really, does it matter?

It's been boring me for almost a year now. Not because he has gotten worse, but because once you know the formula it starts to feel old and "samey" (ironic considering he hates sequels for such reasons).

I still get the occasional laugh out of them, but usually it's more of a faint smile at a reference or bizarre comparison.

The result's speak for themselves.

So far 76.5% of people like him
Most people in the UK like UGG boots, Big Brother and Katie Price. Statistics mean nothing.

I'm impressed that he has gone on for so long. It is difficult to be consistantly funny and original when reviewing so many generic games that have the same downsides. He clearly gets bored of reiterating the same points, so he has to do something different, like talking in limericks. Because he tries to do something different each time, some are going to be less funny than others. There isn't really a gradual decrease in quality or anything.

Yahtzee for president! The guy is still in top form, a couple of rubbish ones in a pile of 100+? pretty impressive i must say... Definitely one of the highlights of my week! :D
Welcome!

OT: I find his videos a bit hit and miss. The last two were definitely good

No, and can these threads please stop popping up? Please?
Didn't think so.
I agree.

It wouldn't be so bad if the OP was written properly and I didn't have to think hard about what he was actually trying to say.

OT: I think he's just as funny as he has always been. It's been said before now, but I agree that sometimes it's not as good as the previous week. But you can't expect every episode to be equally as good as the last. Nothing is that efficient.
