"If a woman lies to a man and takes his money, is he allowed to beat her?" Except you can't state it that way can you because then the answer is obvious:

"No."

Violence is not justified in that situation. It's serving no purpose other than malice and petty revenge against a non-threat through grievous bodily harm, neither of which are ever justified.

What the fuck. No. It's not okay to hit people, male or female, except in self defence. What the hypothetical man did was disgusting and I lost all sympathy for him when he resorted to violence to get revenge. I'm appalled at the amount of people who responded 'yes'.
