I love Japan, mainly it's history.
I can't stand those people who want nothing else in their life then being a Japanese watching anime all day, to whom going to Japan is the ultimate goal in life, those people. I call 'em sad.
And no, I really don't like anime.
I love Japanese History too!

What is even better is this stuff is removed from Japanese History Books and they sacked a teacher who had her class write an apology to Korea! Wonderful nation really. I wonder how many people would love a Germany that denied the Holocaust? Probably no one but its ok Japan just killed a bunch of Asians no big deal am I right?
Not that I stand a chance in hell of convincing you, but since you brought it up...
1. A teacher was sacked for making her students write apologies to the Koreans. First,
[citation needed]. Second, even if it's true, that alone should tell you that not all Japanese people are willing to overlook the crimes of their government's past. Plus, how do you know that was the only reason she was fired? If she assigned this while she was supposed to be teaching geometry, or if she was caught stealing pencils or something, I'd say her boss is justified in firing her. Provide details.
2. In the very article that you cite (good job on trusting Wikipedia, incidentally--all those
[citation needed] tags do wonders for its credibility, and it speaks to the grueling twelve seconds of research you undoubtedly put into framing your argument, but I digress), it says, and I quote: "When [Yoshiaki] Yoshimi's findings were published in the Japanese news media on January 12, 1993, they caused a sensation and forced the government, represented by Chief Cabinet Secretary Kato Koichi, to acknowledge some of the facts that same day. On January 17, Prime Minister Kiichi Miyazawa presented formal apologies for the suffering of the victims, during a trip in South Korea. On July 6 and August 4, the Japanese government issued two statements by which it recognized that "Comfort stations were operated in response to the request of the military of the day", "The Japanese military was, directly or indirectly, involved in the establishment and management of the comfort stations and the transfer of comfort women" and that the women were "recruited in many cases against their own will through coaxing and coercion".[49]" That doesn't sound like rewriting history to me. Yes, it does say "some," not "all"; but if anyone can show me
any government in the world whose every action is an open book, I will stick my junk in a tree shredder. And yeah, Shinzo Abe basically took it all back in 2007, but gues what:
SOME POLITICIANS ARE ASSHOLES. That's anywhere, not just Japan; hell, my country elected the king of the assholes. Twice, in fact. (Protip: Try
reading the damn article to make sure it actually agrees with you before using it to defend your position.)
