and I rant to this day that Marvel movies are overrated and made for children and nerds that cannot stand anything grey and serious.
And here's where we run into the edgelord problem. I have all of the Marvel movies on Blu-Ray. I unironically listen to the band Asia. I have bootlegs of kids' cartoon shows from my youth on my hard drive (Conan! The Adventurer! Man of braveryyy!!). I replay Costume Quest every Halloween for funsies.
I also am a fan of Takashi Miike. I'm a dedicated horror hound. I love hardboiled detective novels. My favorite bands include Ghost, Iron Maiden, Type O Negative and Blue Oyster Cult. I've sunk almost 600 hours of my life into Fallout: New Vegas.
My favorite TV shows ever are Mystery Science Theater 3000 and the original run of The Twilight Zone. I have in my workspace vinyl POP figures of Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow, Groot and Space Ghost. I collect plush Cthulhu dolls and weird antiques. It's okay to have diverse tastes, bud. You like the DC movies, you do you. No one has to justify their tastes to anyone else and arguing over taste is just so much wasted time.
