The very nature of Kim Kardashians success is her managing to stay in the public eye and make money from that without really having any talent or skills

this lawsuit is doing just that. keeping her in the limelight
i dont think anyone could possibly believe she's going to win. but it's got us talking about her hasn't it?
this is true however I have no idea who she is... is she like some kind of movie star or somthing stupid?

ohhh ok no wounder I had no idea who she is shes just one of those people other people obsess over even though they don't matter and are really just a drain on society and suck up money for doing nothing. I find those popular magazines tend to focus on those people and I tend to ignor those because they depress me.

How absurd. I hope the judge not only throws the case out, he also gives her a knock on the cranium with that gavel of his.

I hate celebrity culture sometimes, and by sometimes I mean pretty much constantly.

New low? Almost certainly.

This obviously isn't a publicity stunt, the Kardashians are way too classy for that.

Besides, the girl doesn't even look that much like her, if she was going to sue a look-a-like it should be this model.

Honestly speaking, That Georgia chick looks a lot better than Kim even though they look close to the same. Kim looks like she came from the uncanny valley, far too plastic and artificial looking....

I GOT IT!! I FIGURED IT OUT!! She and the vast majority of other women like her that are known just because they are are not human. They are aliens sent to destroy human intelligence for a planned take over. It started with Michael Jackson (MJ is a black guy, not the female scientist ape from the Planet of the Apes remake), then continued from there. Their downward spirals are just their disguises falling apart. There is a reason these creatures come and go so quickly.

Ummm, that has to be one of the most retarded things i have ever heard/read.
I hope that the law-suit gets thrown out of court for being completely
pointless and waste of time and money.
This so many times, in fact, I think with any lawsuit, if it is found that the lawsuit is unfair or a blatant attempt to shift blame et cetera, the accuser should have to pay for all the defendant's legal fees plus extra for negative reputation that getting taken to court brings. Just as a discouragement for these kinds of stupid cases.

Does anyone have a picture of this other girl? I do not know what is going on...

[edit]

okay, I found pictures and can safely say they do look similar, but tanned brown skin, wavy hair and the shape of her face are not really unique. The only reason she's famous is because her family is kinda rich and she made a sex tape with a so-so recording artist.

For a woman who essentially looks like she was made by sticking a bunch of variously sized beachballs together, she's got the quite the opinion of herself.

OT: Best thing that could happen here is a sudden return to frivolous lawsuits carrying a legal penalty. Would cut the amount of crap like this overnight.

Why is there not an option for 'Kim, do us a favour and douse yourself in petrol, light yourself on fire and run at the nearest gang of hoods shouting "come on you fuckers, I'll take you all on"'?

I absolutely despair at not only celebrity culture, but the complete fucking morons that lap it up and give these people the attention that they seem to crave more than oxygen itself

Looking at past idiotic lawsuits that have succeeded, I reckon she's in with a chance. The fact that she's even in with a chance of winning this makes me long for the day the solar system is consumed by the rapidly expanding fire of our dying sun.

Fuck this!

Well, first off, your Title was a bit misleading. She is suing the Gap because the company's marketing team chose to find a look alike of her, have her styled similar, and in a very, VERY small way, imitating her.

Kim has no other way to support herself besides media appearances, doing adverts, etc. Its a different situation than if they had imitated someone like Marilyn Monroe, Elvis and the like. She makes her living off adverts, so gap essentially paid for a generic brand of Kim.

Wanting to get advert money for the girl even styling herself as a look alike is a bit far, and probably wont get well off in court, but you can see the similarities.

I think that sometimes, in lawsuits like these, the judge ought to have the right to trash and laugh at the the suitor in front of the whole world for a stupid lawsuit like this, so that the suitor gets really embarrassed. And then, after the trashing and laughing, the suitor will get a huge fine which he/she has to pay, just to ensure that he/she will never again waste the time of the court.

You know, there is some justification. Companies use lookalike models to get more popularity, and to get more people to buy their products, through false impersonation.

Whats actually strange is that whoever went and got a look-alike model of her, which by itself is utterly ridiculous, why not get the real one? I mean..its like getting a sex tape of paris hilton. Its easier to get the original than it is to get a fake..that means something.

That being said, this Person is a waste of space partly because she is friends with the biggest waste of space on the planet, i.e. paris hilton.
