Ephraim225 did an LP for Advance Wars Dual Strike done entirely in annotations while also giving viewers the ability to add their own annotations. It's rather funny.

Those guys are just genuinely kind of funny.
Especially when they play Fatal Frame or Hitman.

There's a lot of Call of Duty commentaries circling around YouTube, and there are some excellent commentators out there. I prefer them to LPs cause they are much shorter.

Look them up, they do hilarious commentary's mainly for Super Mario World ROM Hacks.

Depends, I only watch OverTheGun's let's plays on Youtube, and those would never be complete without his "that diden't count"'s and his loud yelling of "JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!"

Along with that, his accent makes it all the more interesting to listen too.

For me it depends what i'm watching...if it's just gameplay to see if a game's worth getting then the narrating of it seems irritating. However, if it's explaining a walkthrough then the lack of a narrative may lose some of the detail.

So it really depends what context i'm watching the video for

Well, yeah, it's generally what I look for in a let's play. They have to be decent though. I'm not looking for the sudden high level of quality Something Awful looks for, I'm just looking for something decently done.

A lot of them can have very annoying voices (I'm looking at you, L0rdVega), or be absolute crap at playing games.

But people like 666theheartless666, Helloween4545, and agentjr are some of the better/very good ones.

Whoa, he actaully was. And somehow, his voice is somewhat similar to LRR-Graham's.

I also like Sneakymode's narrated videos, and he's got an awesome accent too, so it instantly gets more awesome.
