I'm quite equal with men as I am women, because I hang around with both. But I think tbh I speak more freely with men.

I don't care about gender, gender is completely irrelevant to me when it comes to friends: if I like someone, I do regardless of that, and if I hate someone's guts I do regardless of that as well so there's no point, really.
I did vote women thought, because *in general* I'm a *little bit* more likely to find myself more comfortable around them, but it's a close call.
I'm honestly surprised, thought, at how many people state that men are "more accepting" and somehow don't throw bitchy fits over the most trivial things. I don't know whether this is brainwash by relentless repetition of stereotypes or I just happen to have the bad luck of knowing a lot of drama-prone men.

Most of my friends have been female in recent time, but I feel equally comfortable around either sex. Generally it comes down to someones personality, not their gender, to determine if I like being around them or not.
In the long run, men. I'm sorry, but women don't generally help with my "keep your ass out of drama" policy. There are some that are pretty good with staying out of drama, but the vast majority really don't.

Alone works pretty damn well in most cases. Nobody there to bother you or get you into more trouble then you can find yourself. So thats what I voted.
On the other hand, everyone gets lonely eventually I suppose so it's nice to have a backup. That back up would have to be other guys. Easier to get along with and less touchy then women. Not saying all girls are like that but I've met some who are and some who aren't.

I relate better to women, actually. Men tend to be more judgmental, I've found, though I have a healthy balance of friends between the two sexes. I just happen to like my women friends a bit more. ^^
Women, because I get tired of the typical masculine behaviour of men quite fast. I prefer the company of women if possible, although they are shallow in their own way, but usually less when guys are around.
I feel more comfortable around women, actually. My circle of friends in high school was me and about 8 girls.
However, if I happen to like a girl, I am uncomfortable when I try to tell them that (I tend to freeze up until the subject is changed.)

I find it easier talking to a girl than a boy, although I very rarely talk to girls anymore. With girls you can just talk about anything, whereas guys don't do that. As for which I enjoy more, neither, I like talking with either depending on my mood.
