I prefer being alone, with guys there's that territorial bullshit you have to constantly deal with, and with women, well, for once I'd like to hear one strike up an interesting conversation instead of just sitting there pretending to text message someone important...0o

Then you're doing something wrong or you pick the wrong girls to hang out with. Avoid the princesses/spoiled brats.

If I don't know the people I'm not comfortable usually. If it's male friends I'm usually more comfortable than with female friends though...

Men tend to be less uptight, I can make more crude jokes without the other person getting akward or shaking their head.

But generally guys and girls are equally fine by me, though girls do smell nicer......

Definitely women. Since nearly all of my female friends are "one of the guys" they have managed to surpass "the guys" in most ways.

Well, just saying... Don't take this the wrong way, just meaning to help you or something. If girls avoid eye contact and start messaging all the time, they branded you as either boring or (sexually) uninteresting. Not saying this is your fault; Like I said, its probably their shallowness.

Men. Aside from having more common interests with men, I just cannot wrap my head around the way girls work. Most girls, that is. They just boggle the mind. It's like they never leave high school even after they've graduated college. I can't stand that mentality.

So you're trying to help me by saying that I might just be boring and ugly?

lol

Anyways, it's not like this is a touchy subject for me, I'm old enough to know the score, and my real solution would be to gtfo of this city...because life here sucks...XP

No no, then you've read it wrong and I tried to warn you for that. You come over as either boring or (sexually) uninteresting TO THEM. Means you will probably do a lot better with a different type of girl/woman.

By the way, I never mentioned you being ugly or something. (how should I know) Besides, women are just as shallow as men (they just don't admit it), but like things you can work on in general. Women in general like:
- a good sixpack/muscles (but to an extend)
- Status! Most important thing once you 2 start talking.
- Being a potential father. (responsible, assertive, traits like that)
- A guy taking good care of himself, such as nice cloths and having a nice scent. Beware though, a lot of women are attracted to "pure masculinity" as well, although they often then not regret it later.

Most of those things are stuff you can work on. Either that, or find a different audience.

I tend to get along better with men.... cause girls (my self not included) are weird and just plain annoying.... I can't stand the girl squeel/banshee noise that most girls make ("ow my ear drums!! WHYYYY") and they always seem to have some opinion about what I'm wearing... "I know it's not fashionable, but I like it, so GTFO" .... /end rant

I generally get along with most people regardless of gender. That said, my main circle revolves around 6 men and 3 women (counting me). So I guess I'd have to pick guys. Good thing my hubby isn't an overly jealous guy.

I'm not too sure in what sort of context you mean, but I feel comfortable with either gender.

Neither. Guys irritate me (either they want to do nerdy things, or sleep with me), while girls just confuse me.

neither, but I enjoy spending time with both, I'm shy around both (and even when I try hard to be friendly with new people, they can tell I'm shy)

I like hanging out with girls, but when talking to guys I don't have to think about how I act or what I say. And besides, the girls I hang around have a special humor, they like making me uncomfortable, I'm like a rabbit in a wolf pack in their company.

Edit: Oh and shouldn't there be options for saying your own gender, so that people of both genders can answer without making the poll-results weird.
