Bioshock: I really like the story and how the setting added to the suspense
Call of Duty 4: I am a sucker for military games, and this one was a lot a fun.
Halo 3: I like it but I don't love it. I like the story, but the multi-player can be full of immature people sometimes.
Gears of War 2: It was good at first for me, but when I beat it I got bored very easily and ended up selling it.
Half-Life 2: I didn't really like it that much and was confused about a few things during the story.

I do like all of these games and this is just my opinion of my favorite game to least favorite.

Gears of War 2
Call of Duty 4

I prefer a good story to 'mature gory awesomeness' or screaming kids in my ear when playing multiplayer...

Half Life 2
Bioshock
CoD4
Halo 3

Though I only have a PC for games, and limited experience with the bottom 3, thats what order they stick with me. Never played Gears of War in any form though.

This is like asking which of my children is my favorite; they are all excellent games. Still, in the spirit of the question:

Bioshock
Gears of War 2
Call of Duty 4
Halo 3
Half Life 2

The toughest call was Halo 3 over HL2; HL2 single player experience is so much better, but Halo 3's multiplayer puts it a nose in front.

Out of this list:

Halo 3
bioshock
Gears of War 2, Half-life, and Cod 4 I hate equally so they're all ranked the same.

Gears of War 2- (Just look at the Avatar)

Call of Duty 4- (Proably the greatest Call of Duty every released)

Bioshock (Great game with a great atmosphere)

Half-Life 2 (Great story, great weapons and great characters)

Halo 3- (To be honest I'm judging these games based on single player not Multiplayer. And if it wasen't for Multiplayer I would have been very disapointed in the game.)

Why would that be flamed? You did everything that the Op ask you to do.

and gears of war and halo don't even figure in my list. Because they suck.
This will proably be flamed.

He didn't ask if the game sucked he simply asked you to list them against eachother.

1. Call of Duty 4 - Great but short single player, and perhaps the finest current multiplayer shooter, barely edges out Half-Life 2

2. Half-Life 2 - Best single player of the bunch, but comparatively lacking multiplayer.

3. Gears of War 2 - I rank it above Bioshock because it has multiplayer, otherwise they pretty much split even.

4. Bioshock - Was not very interesting to me.

5. Halo 3 - Not bad, but nothing special either.

BioShock and CoD tie for last, for pretty much the same reason.
You're a communist?
If I was a communist i would like both of those games, Russia never gets nuke'd in CoD, America almost does. And BioShock is the result of the evils of Capitolism on an underwater city.
