Half Life 2 has to be one of the greatest first person shooters out there. Bioshock was just amazing, and call of duty was purely awesome. Halo 3 on the other hand... pure dog shit in my opinion. It was pretty much Halo 2 copy/pasted. Bungie built up so much hype on the game and in the end we were given a shinier version of halo 2... I don't know, haha I think I'm the only one that thinks that...

1. Half Life 2: Great control, great story and one of the best games of all time.
2. Bioshock: Pretty good, I'm not gonna spaz out over it though.
3. CoD 4: Half the reason most people bought it was the low price, then the cheeky bastards turned around and raised it after it became a hit. GOTY editions should be CHEAPER than the original, not more expensive. It was fun and it brought a dead franchise back to life.
4. Halo 3: meh...
5. Gears of War 2: haven't played the second one, but the first one didn't really stand out too much. based off the first game I would put it on the bottom of this list.

When i bought orange box. Yes its sad i didn't get to play it back in the day when it was great. I'm sure it was the cats tuxedo. But to say its greater than newer games is like saying Ocarina of Time is better than Twilight Princess. Some old games age. That means they aren't as great as newer games. Some age well.
