I started lurking the forums, but when school became super-boring, I started posting all the time. That's how I became a commenter. And I started posting in january/february, and 700 is for me a LOT.

I'm a joint commenter-lurker. I lurk a lot of the time, and although I've tried to get into a regular posting habit, it never happens, so I simply comment every now and again.

You could just look at the average views threads get compared to posts, that shows exactly what you're looking for much more efficiently than a poll lurkers won't take part in.

Although my post count betrays the fact, I do like to comment on as many things as I like, although you whippersnappers that came here after me have quite frankly a shocking maount of posts in such a small amount of time. I have yet to break 2000.

I have lurked so hard on these forums. It hasn't helped that I feel the need to read through a thread before commenting on it.
I do, however, almost always vote in polls.
