Have you tried the master quest?
Nope, what is it?
It was a Limited Nintendo Gamecube version of OOT which you got if you pre-ordered Wind Waker. Its got an extended (not by much) Quest Line called "The Master Quest". Apparently its rather hard.

EDIT: And just like EVERY Zelda Game: FUCKING WATER TEMPLES!!!
It is bloody hard. Worth it though. The water temple is one of the easier ones on there actually, it was the fire temple that made me want to tear my hair out because it was soooooo hard.

I found Fire easy. The thing I hate about all zelda's is that ALL the water temples involve FUCKING AROUND WITH THE DAMN WATER HEIGHT!! (Or Current in MM). If you screwed up in 1 place, you had to reset the whole freaking lot and do from a point all over again. it drove me so insane, I locked the OoT Cartridge (sp?) In a damn safe because I was so shitted off. It took 3 weeks to finish that temple. It took me that long for Twilight Princess and thank GOD the bloody Water Temple in that was straight foward....ish.

Luckily I have both for game cube (sophisticated laugh). I liked Majoras Mask more, but the time constraint felt annoying and arbitrary.

I hate nostaliga, so I'm going to become kind of a hypocritic here but I have better memories for OoT so it gets my vote.

Ocarina of Time, mostly personal opinion since I liked it for being the first one of the 2 I played.

The sheep will choose Ocarina, but Majora's Mask is obviously the superior game.
Excuse me, but that's just an excessive generalisation. I like Ocarina better for entirely individual reasons. Other people's opinions are irrelevant to my choice. If MM was more popular, I'd still say OoT.

I personally prefer OoT, although I'm not entirely sure why. I own both OoT and MM, and I have to say, I find MM boring. I'm not entirely sure why. It has a decent plot, the atmosphere is very cool, and you have the freedom to do just as much, but it never really kept my attention long enough for me to get into it. I'd turn it on, beat a dungeon or two, then shut it off for a few weeks. I DO like MM, I just can't keep going with it for very long. As I said before, I'm not entirely sure why this is. I've thought it over before, and I really have no answer. The Zelda experience just isn't complete without playing both, though.

Yeah mucking around with water does get old after a while... I still loved both the water temples but they can be grind tastic. Majoras was better I think... but only slightly.

People usually call me crazy but Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game, and one of my all time favorite video games period.

Don't get me wrong Ocarina was incredible, but I thought there was something magical about Majora. Ocarina's Hyrule was a huge world to explore and I really enjoyed it, but to me it felt like butter spread over too much bread compared to Majora's Termina.

Majora's overworld had incredible detail for the time. Ocarina's over world had flat and lifeless NPCs that were generally nailed to the ground. Majora's NPCs however were incredible! They all had places to go and things to do and the game had countless little easter eggs relating to NPCs and they're dialogue. To this day I still find things every so often I didn't know about. (This is really saying something. I have 100% completion for this game.)

Another thing for me was story. No one can deny that even at the time neither Ocarina nor Majora were charting new ground in the story department. But Majora just had something magical about it. The usual quirky Nintendo presentation combined with the sense of dread and impending doom that permeated Majora created a game that had an atmosphere like no other. To this day I haven't experienced the same feeling of dread as the first time I reached the night of the third day. The moon is hovering so close you could touch it, the night sky is shot with an eerie red glow, the clock on your HUD ,which normally gives the the time and which day it is, turns into a timer that counts down to impact, and no matter where you go a piece of music called the The 11th Hour begins to play instead of the normal soundtrack. It still send chill's down my spine.

It saddens me greatly there are Zelda fans out there who can't appreciate Majora or still haven't played it.
