I don't smoke, but I support the legalization of it.

Then again, I also support the legalization of heroine, cocaine, LSD, and every other narcotic you can think of.

*Opportunity, meaning somebody else's weed, via somebody else's pipe or bong. I'm a deadbeat.

At the risk of being insulting it seems like you blame pot for your sisters failures, it will make you lazy and stupid if you let it, if thats who you really are inside. Most growers don't lace there weed cause that is pointless, it costs them more just do to damge to people for no reason, believe it or not, people who grow weed aren't evil. Your sisters faulters are not the blame of some plant growing out of the ground, she failed. and you can use weed as an excuse if you want. When i was 18 i toured in a band for 2 years straight with little time off, I smoked weed everyday, no side effects at all, and I still got my journalism degree online while touring, and I am now working on getting my Psychology degree. Weed didn't hinder me.

Same story here! I've been smoking the stuff for years now, and I ran for the presidential elections in the US a couple of years ago. After that I became the King of the Internet, while working on my PhD in Metaphysics. Did I mention I was 12 at the time? I had absolutely no time off, but I somehow managed to spend some time smoking weed.

This is all true, because I'm saying it on the internet!


On topic: I don't smoke it, and I probably never will. I do, however, see alcohol as a bigger threat than weed, but I still don't really see the benefits of using a drug that messes up your brain for a short period of time, other than perhaps some medical applications.

Smoking one now feeling good, typing skills are suffering but I think that is mainly my need for sleep.

The only negative I see is the inhalation part of it but still...

I don't lie about myself, I was touring in a hardcore band making no money and I knew the band would probably not stay together thats why I was getting my degree. I believe in Integrity so I'll ask you politely not to insult mine.

I'm just anti-government regulations on things that do no harm to anyone but the self. Thus, I think all narcotics should be fully legal.

That said, anyone who then commits some form of crime while high needs to be shot.

Because this thread is about the usage/effects of marijuana, and you claim to have experienced absolutely no effects due to using it. You're saying a to-some-extent incapacitating drug doesn't actually do anything. I only picked you, because you were presenting a whole story filled with impressive accomplishments; something I hardly ever, when posted on a forum. It's nothing personal.

I'm very curious where the myth comes from that there are no health issues involved with Marijuana.

I'm saving for about half a year.Those things are fuckin expensive.
But I guess if I wouldn't spend all my monie on Games, Books ,DVD's and pot it would be much easier.

I'm very curious where the myth comes from that there are no health issues involved with Marijuana.

Cause the existing health hazards pretty much all come from the inhalation of the smoke.
The pure extract of Cannabis really has more or less no bad effects on your body.
Only health issue I have after about 6 years of smoking pot is that I got a little pudgy from all the munchies.But my inherent lazyness might have something to do with that.

Marijuana does not incapacitate you, maybe if you smoke 3-4 grams to yourself in one session, but its never hindered me, though made me sleepy sometimes after huge sessions. A driven determined person will not let Weed hinder them, it enhances your senses, it doesn't leave you comatose. As for the Health

Alcohol is illegal and slowly kills you, THC has studies showing it can help prevent the development of tumors. Just because something is illegal doesn't necessarily mean its bad, look into the politics of it if you have time, its very interesting.

That's a fair enough reason. If someone is ever arguing with you about it, you should also throw in that alot of South America would be much more stable with a legal drugs market, and they'd also be alot easier to control and monitor in your home country.
