- Krogans that run neck deep into a Banshee and complain when they get one shotted.
This.

So many times i've seen a Krogan or Vanguard charge straight into a Banshee/Brute/Atlas/pack of Geth with Pyros and hunters with Rocket Troop cover or straight into the path of a Cerberus Engineers turret.

And then they wonder why they die and why 3 people are no where near them to offer a rez.

If one of the above types of folk is reading this then the reason we don't blindly charge in behind to offer a rez is because we used our brains and came to the conclusion that charging into a small army on our own is fucking numb.

Last wave Silver Reaper...

5 brutes, 5 banshees, extraction zone.

WHAT.

Other than that, people who join Silver or higher games when they are, like, N7 level 5, and character level 5.

YOU STICK TO BRONZE TILL YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE.

I'm over level 100 in N7, promoted a character, have two others are 18 or 19, two weapons raised to level 10 and quite a bit of experience in ME... and I still don't play Gold, too hard without really good weapons and armor and weapon upgrades.

7. People who don't pay attention to objectives. STOP KILLING THE GODDAMN ENEMIES! WE HAVE SOMETHING TO HACK AND ONLY FIFTY SECONDS LEFT!
Had this happen last night, and it was on Bronze (hey I started the day before yesterday) and it was killing the VIPs. We were on our third and had 20 seconds left when I found and killed him... and the 4th as well with about 13 seconds. (With an assault rifle no less!) I get sometimes you have to fight to get to them -- but you can't ignore the objectives. You can kill off the rest afterward. Don't do the objectives and it's a fail.

I love my Lvl. 18 Human Engie but I seem to get kicked in every other match I join but no one kicks my Lvl. 17 Human Infil. Why? Is it my use of just a pistol(N7 Eagle)? I'm trying to keep my recharge rate at 180-200%.

You do realise that all experience and credits is shared so the only outcome of this is that it will be easier, right?

I get so pissed when people do this. I've been part of a team that's failed 3 missions because of this. If you want me to go do it alone, then at least cover me! Sheesh.

I also encountered this guy(?) who just stood there while the rest of the team did the work. Once we all died, THAT'S when he started moving around. Like if he was thinking "oh my turn?" Could've used the help earlier, guy >>

EDIT - Oh, and human vanguards? Don't use nova in a group of three or more enemies... IT REMOVES YOUR SHIELDS, dammit... Not something you want when you just used your biotic charge to get into danger in the first place, and can't use it again for the next few seconds...
Well I know you are not going to like me since I main a Vanguard, but when I decided to create a spammer Vanguard for lolz I found out he's (Human Male) overpowered.

I equipped a Disciple Shotgun with the Piercing Mod and Choke Mod. (To handle Guardians with shields).

Basically I have 200% recharge bonus for weight and I have a fully upgraded Nova (Dmg) And Biotic Charge (Full restore of barrier, 15% more of biotic power dmg) I can basically Charge before the Nova animation is complete. What kills me is when no enemy is left in sight and some enemy snipes me from afar. Or an one shot animation. Like the Banshee that popped behind me in Firebase Dagger and I ran like hell away from her!!!... Only to have the controls lock down and watch my guy slowly walk to the banshee to be grabbed and eaten...

Also protip, did you know that if you KILL the Atlas/Banshee/Brute/Phantom in the middle of the one shot kill animation before it drops the player and the skull appears the victim won't die?!?! I tried this a couple of times with my brother, the Banshee had already her arm all the way through his Asari and I missiled that thing, only for my brother to slump into the ground bleeding... Not dead :D

Sure. (And I think it's a cool little feature.)

But it's downright boring when there's two level 20 vanguard zipping about and my level 2 engineer might as well stand in a corner twiddling his little salarian thumbs.

It might be people kicking because they don't know how to make their room private. Do you have a low N7 rank? Some people seem to think that's a measure of your experience, but it really isn't.

Well sir you make a good point my N7 is only a 44. I'll take that or the Private thing as a good reason. I also see alot of Mic-less wonders getting kick votes.

Could be a "mob mentality" kind of thing also. First kick vote goes up, and the other two people are more likely to vote as well.

Yep. I left a match a few nights ago when I was really spending all my time just trying to find enemies left to kill. I was using the Krogan Soldier I had just unlocked (was a level six or so at the time), but the people who had level 18-20 characters were just making things so boring.

I understand you want to grind and get that "phat loot", but seriously...move up. Silver isn't that hard. I wanted to level my character up, yes. But even more than that: I wanted to have fun.

I've also seen a few people do something similar.

In my experience, the Reapers are head and shoulders above every other enemy group. I find it to go Reapers > Geth > Cerberus generally. I suppose you could min/max your squad to take on each particular group but if you don't know what is coming, Reapers are the toughest.
I can't comment on gripes about the community because I only play with friends.
Salarian Engies are built to rape every single faction, its ridiculously awesome how fast an engie take down anything that moves.

5. Vanguards, stop being a kill stealing prick when people are lining up shots/setting up combos. Yes, the Charge is a very cool ability, but if you zoom your ass into trouble, don't get pissy when no one runs to save your dumb ass.
wouldnt it prove more effective to set up the vanguard for bio explosions?

I know I do this when I play as an adept with a Vanguard in the group, all I do is follow the Vanguard around setting shit up for him/her.

1: Have a damn mic, it's a squad based team game. If I can't hear you calling for help because you missed 3 Atlus' with a rocket and they're slowly walking up on you, you're going to die.

2: Listen to what I say. I' usually run my Quarian infiltrator. I can Hack turrents for like 10 seconds, and an atlus on siver for 7 seconds. When I say, don't shoot the turrent it means I'm using it right now, don't worry I'll let you know when I stopped used it. (Nothings better than having an engineer set a turrent down and then it turns and shoots him to death)

3: Yes, I don't like using medipacks, but if we're standing behind cover and I go down, you kinda duck outta the way, pick me up. I do it for you.

4: I used the Widow, I shoot for the head, if you freeze them, I will take that shot, don't get angry at me.

5: I say things 'for the lulz' don't take it seriously, it's a game..

Edit: Please don't rez me by a banshee, they pick you up off the ground and go Arnold on you (fist in stomach)

On Silver (and particularly on Gold) that's actually the best thing to do. Lure them away then run to the extraction zone with 40 seconds on the clock or so. That is, of course, assuming the players have a good sense of direction and know how to get from point A to the extraction zone without having to run through the army that has been lured away.

Look at the alternative: hold out in the small circle wasting rockets and ops packs and medigels trying to survive as 3 banshees warp in, 2 brutes charge in, ravagers sniping at you. And that's just the Reapers. The Geth enjoy sending groups of 4-5 Hunters to the evac zone while pyros creep on in and rocket troopers are sniping at you. Cerberus I'll give you...they're not much of a threat at the end seeing as the Atlas is so frickin slow, all you really have to worry about are grenades and Phantoms.

But it also depends on the level. White can be defended pretty easily, but Glacier's extraction point has pretty much 0 defendability. As such rather than holding the circle, it's better.

The point is, if you try to hold the circle on Gold, you're going to die. It's that simple. :p

As every one has already said, Reapers are the most annoying.
Every other faction has a weakness:
Cerberus relies on having every type of troop present to deal with you, and taking out a single type will mean you can easily exploit that weakness.
Geth rely a lot on shields, and are rather weak. One or two people with overload in your team, and you're golden.

But Reapers? Fuck them. Brutes will force you out of cover, Cannibals will take away your shields and Ravagers will kill you in one burst. Banshees are the cherry on top of a cake made out of acid, that's on fire, and molesting your mom.

As for annoying multiplayer:
-Vanguards that charge into everything, but the second a boss comes up, they leave you to deal with it.
-Same as one, but with infiltrator and cloak
-Infiltrators with Mantis. Great, you can fire once, then have to reload...you realise you could do more damage by taking advantage of having the damage buff that lingers after coming out of cloak? While you can one shot that Cerberus soldier, I'd much rather you kill the engineer by shooting several times.
-Soldiers with only one weapon.
-Buying equipement, only to see that the Katana got upgraded again. I still don't have a second pistol, that I have the Katana tier10.
